lol I chuckled a little when you "gave up vodka" 3-4 years before you can legally have some.

That was my go to drink, during highschool.

& MadDog 2020, Keystone/Natty Light.

I was pretty bad in highschool. I drank way more than I ever should have or someone should be able to for that age. I've had to be excused a few times from my business tech class, just to go throw up...

My buddy's mom worked over night, so we all gathered at their house on Tuesdays to get smashed. I never missed school, though... I would get my *** up on 2 hours (If I was lucky) of sleep and drag myself to class.

I'm still predictable... Makers Mark, Captain Morgan, Blue Moon.. that's my go-to.

Anyone think I should feel guilty for not working tomorrow? Because I do. I work M-F regularly. Saturdays are overtime(plus any hours you work past 40 hours a week is overtime pay). My boss asked me yesterday if I could work Saturday and I said yes, but after thinking about it I really just don't want to. I talked to him this morning and told him I could use the day off so if he can get someone else can I have it off and he said yeah that's fine we'll find someone else.

I don't know. I've only been at this company for 3 months so I'm still sort of new. But I have worked every Saturday they've asked until this one so it's not like I'm someone who never works overtime. I guess I just feel guilty because we've been slammed at work lately and there honestly isn't any legitimate reason for me not to work. I do have some small things I need to do, but most of them I can do on Sunday too. lol.

Anyone else feel guilty for saying no when asked if you can work Saturday or overtime?

I would say don't worry about it, everyone needs a day off every now and then. Plus you will probably have to come in plenty of Saturday's in the future, so if your boss said it wasn't a problem I wouldn't worry about it and just enjoy your time off tomorrow.

I lobbed that meatball up there for you, didn't I?

I have to say that I'm a huge fan of The Show, but decided to go with 2k this year instead and am actually really surprised. I think The Show is the all around better game, no doubt. However, 2k does a lot of things right. Their pitching is more fun (IMO), the commentary isn't even in the same ballpark, the career stats are a lot better and the franchise mode additions (chronic injures, rehab assignments, etc) are really nice. I do miss a lot of the thing The Show has too, manual injuries being the main thing.

All and all if the two games could just meet and a bar one lonely night, make a few bad decisions and a love child could come from it nine months later, then we'd have the perfect baseball game.

I haven't played 2k since 2k10 but I really enjoyed it. Then again, I played The Show 11 and really enjoy that too

In my entire baseball game history, the only game I didn't like was MLB Slugfest 2003 on gamecube.

Loved Ken Griffey Jr for SNES. Played multiple 162 game seasons. You could play a single game in 15 minutes. The Braves lineup in that game was brutal. You know when they subbed in Neon he was going yard.

That was one of the first games I remember that had editable player names. I went on my dad's computer and printed out all the stats from the 92 or 93 season (i forget which one, I think 93) and matched up every player with their stats

Unfortunately as a(n) SNES game the names would erase themselves all the time

Stats would sometimes reset during the season as well. I used to create my team with people that i know. I'd always have a SS with 10 in defense.

My friend has his SNES with him up at FSU, tried to play Ken Griffey. Couldn't do it, I was beyond terrible at D i'd allow like 5 runs at least an inning.
