I like both cause I can't fully vent my spleen here without being pinked, so I will run and Twit my nonsense and come back here feeling refreshed.

I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Not serious because I know she won't cheat and if she does, oh well - it's her loss, but still....don't try to **** with me. I'm a mind-game master.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2012
As for twitter vs. OT, I use both. Right now I'm just wondering if I'll reach 5,000 posts (currently at 4,872) or 5,000 tweets (currently at 4,647) first. Of course if it weren't for OT, I probably would have more than 1500 fewer total posts but also I probably would have a twitter if it weren't for OT (thanks ryan)Last edited by BurghFan; 01-01-2012, 08:56 PM.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

Re: Off Topic 2012
Since I'm a bit late and this is my first post in OT 2012, Happy New Years guys.
Secondly, the hell with this thread already. I miss one day and I'm behind 340 posts? Not to mention having to finish up reading OT 2011.
Thirdly, I had a pretty good time last night, at least until the keg at the party I was at ran out by 11. SMH at being less than perfectly prepared for a New Years Eve party.Patriots

Re: Off Topic 2012
One of my goals my boss gave this year is to roll out "grab and go" sushi lunches for our cafe patrons.
I'm going to start with this "sampling" a few and creating recipes for them. I think I'll do this one first.

It seems a little weird for people to go to a Hospital for lunch, unless they were all ready there. Most of the food you talk about does look/sound awesome.Comment

Clinched the championship in one of my fantasy football leagues thanks to Matt Flynn. Have a 244-220 point lead and I have Hakeem Nicks left, he's got no one. Have a 209-174 point lead in the championship game of another league, have Hakeem Nicks and Eli left, he's got Felix Jones and Victor Cruz left.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2012
We are the center of a pretty large medical area. Outlying Dr's offices, Rehab Facilty, Dentists Etc..
We got a ton of their staff and patients because we're very convinient (there's nothing else around for lunch) and low cost.
And, the hospital itself employs 1200 people alone, so we have a pretty captive audience.
All in all we do about 400-500 meals a day.
As for your question however, we do fax out our weekly menu to even further outlying buisnesses and get them in here too. I've helped change the outlook on the foodservice here (which is why I was hire in the first place) *get rid of the meatloaf bring in the steaks*.
For Christmas, we catered 3 outside christmas dinners for people that have nothing to do with the hospital other than have our food at outside functions.
I'd say outside the hospital, 8% of our daily patrons are just guests of the cafe.Last edited by Chef Matt; 01-01-2012, 09:20 PM.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Off Topic 2012
Replaced it for me about ten minutes after I got it and realized that there was no TOS on Twitter.
But for a post here -
My girlfriend just tried to pull some bull on me, so she's now getting ignored until she apologizes. It's not even anything that bad, but the woman needs to learn.
I went to the Pats game today and by the time I got home I was tired and don't feel like going out and dealing with the drunk versions of her and her mom and probably her aunt. So I told her I was probably going to just go grab some food with my sister and her boyfriend.
She then tells me "Drew just showed up" so she's talking and texting and was distracted. I ask who Drew was as if I'm supposed to know, she ignores it. I ask once more about twenty minutes later and her response was: "well maybe it'll make you come see me."
Like I said, nothing too serious, but don't try ****ing with me saying a dude you used to **** is with your drunk self at a restaurant-bar. You're starting fights you won't win.
