I really need to get a day job. Working nights (and retail no less) is ****.

Working nights is pretty cool depending on what you doing. Takes a while to get use to though. You be sleeping while your friends be up and about. My dad been working the night shift for the past 33 years now.

I don't understand why people want to diminish people because they like something or that they don't like something.

We all have preferences, right? Some of us love snow, some of us despise it. Do we need to make sure everyone has the same opinion of it?

I love snow. The driveway to my complex is pretty much a big ol hill and I'm in desperate need to sled down it; however, a dusting of snow is nothing to twirl panties over your head about.

Move to Vermont, New Hampshire or Maine. And tell me when it comes to the middle of May and you STILL shoveling snow that you still like doing it and driving in it.

Tell me when we get those freak 20 inches in one day type of snow storms and they close down the highways and all the towns become isolated from one another, you still like it.

This sounds like a beautiful dream I had once. Ohhhhhh wait, that's what happens in north carolina when they just mention snow in the forecast.

Back in Tallahassee finally after a nice long break, supposed to be a low of 21 tonight.

I've done snow on our 5th grade D.C. safety patrol trip and once when I visited my dad in Connecticut. I have no fond memories of snow from those 2 times besides a nice snowball fight on the D.C. trip. You guys can keep your snow I wouldn't survive on a daily basis with it.

You guys had to be back to campus already ? I know my brother has to be back saturday.

I take it would be GameStop gift cards, since it is a GameStop store. And why would you buy a gift card with a gift card ? You might as well give that person your GameStop gift card instead. But I am pretty sure you can though.

I thought they might have Kindle gift cards or something. I'm thinking about getting the xbox deal where I get a $75 gift card with it but I have no use for a Gamestop gift card and would rather have an Amazon one. Unless Gamestop has plans to sell the Kinect for $100 anytime soon, which I doubt.

I wouldn't call it cool.

I've been working it for the past 4 months or so, and while I have gotten used to it, it still sucks.

It's pretty lame sleeping while everything is going on around you, then you get up and there's nothing going on. You end up missing out on a lot of things. Sometimes you hardly have time to make it out to stores before they close or to chill with friends before they're sleeping or whatnot.

At times it has its benefits. I am more of a night owl anyways. It just sucks to completely flip your days as if you're living in another part of the world.

3 inches of snow brings all walks of life to a halt in NC. That and you can't find a crumb of bread all day!

I know whenever they mention snow, the grocery stores here are slam packed.

You should be able to get a used Kinect for $100. Hmm being that you can trade in your Ipad and Ipod into Gamestop nowadays, they might sell Itunes card there.

Surprisingly it's January 3rd and we've yet have any snowfall here. It was 50 degrees on New Years Eve for crying out loud.

I understand your point of view, but to me, I'm excited about it because it finally brings winter into view. What we had in November and December felt more like an extended fall, and while that's nice and all, when the calendar gets into December, I want it to be snowy... wintery, even. And I finally feel like it is wintery.
