I hate the circumstances in my life right now. I just had to turn down a recruiter who had interest in me as a candidate. It just happens to be with Amazon again. But I can't move right now, because my fiance hasn't been accepted to or selected a grad school yet, and it's probably not going to happen because UWash is not her top choice.

Man, the inepitude of professional people freaking boggle my damn mind. From Octoberish until December my check engine light has been going on and off. Whatever. I finally go in December 23rd to get it checked out. Apparently something is wrong with my catalytic converter (under warranty thank God) and a couple AF sensors are out. Fine. We order the parts and wait. About a week and a half goes by and I call to see if the parts are in; they are. I ask if I can come in anytime to get the work done; I can, so I don't make an appointment. I take my car in Saturday (January 7th) and after the initial hem-hawing over me not having an appointment and being "short staffed" I'm sent to the waiting area. After an hour of waiting (which I was fully prepared to wait 2-3 hours for the work to be done, I had no qualms about waiting) they come out and tell me they ordered the wrong parts. Cool. So a trip wasted and half my Saturday morning gone with nothing to show for it. More parts are ordered.

I called last Thursday to see if parts are in; they are. This time I inquire about making an appointment and push for Saturday, but the appointment guy says they are normally half-staffed on Saturdays so I schedule for Tuesday (Today). Fast-forward to this morning where I have to wake up an hour early to drop my car off and have them shuttle me to my work. About an hour ago I get a call from them and what's this another part ordered wrong? Well ****-di-****ing-do da.
