Re: Off Topic 2012
Well we have been on break
So I haven't seem him since. I have asked him twice on our in house Facebook group and his two responses have not answered my question. I can't post the responses on here as it would violate the TOS.
According to another teammate he had some outstanding debt (car maintenance, student loans) . I did the math it would be somewhere in between 1400 and 2100 dollars of straight cash. All he said was they would be back ordered until the end of the semester, which was last month.
Did you have to sign any type of contract, or put anything in writing? I'm guessing no, which is why he is just going to deny you guys gave him the money at all, or he'll claim it was a gift.
If you're going to do anything about this, you and your teammates (everyone that gave any money to this guy) Need to go and talk to him together. Don't do anything by yourself as this guy might get confrontational.
Good luck, I hope you do get your money back, but hopefully you learn from this don't trust anyone with financial transactions unless you get some sort of receipt, or deal in writing. This time it was only $70? well next time it could be a lot more.Last edited by Feared; 01-21-2012, 06:56 PM.Minnesota Vikings
