That's what I think of every time OT goes to this theme.

He had to be taken to the hospital this weekend at the Sundance Festival. Not sure what is wrong with him.

Anyway. I was reading recipes on bettycrocker.com and scanning the reviews when I read this one for smoky bbq chicken salad:

tried this tonight for a lighter meal, i loved it, my boyfriend was going to get another helping, but the dog licked his plate! good thing we used paper plates!

Cinema masterpiece........no, just a different era in society. The 80s and early 90s were all about guns, muscle bound male actors and big action. Being a manly man.

Now......it is more about magic, personal feelings and love. Society just has changed of what sales a lot and what don't..

Because there certainly aren't guns or action anymore. Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol was about a casual debate about arms deployment. The Grey is about a nice leisurely weekend at a ski lodge. Man on a Ledge is a character piece deconstructing a character's feelings.

I liked that scene in Taken where Liam Neeson calmly asked the kidnappers for his daughter back, and was successful through rational discourse and cool-headedness.

I mean yeah sure there's more feelings,etc in movies these days I guess.

TBH tho i'm not going to buy/see a movie if it's just going to have stuff blow up for 2 hours, i'd like some thinking/shock involved unless it's a comedy.

I liked that scene in Taken where Liam Neeson calmly asked the kidnappers for his daughter back, and was successful through rational discourse and cool-headedness.

I certainly loved the scene in The Dark Knight that went like this:

Joker: Who are you?

Batman: I am Batman.

Joker: Nice to meet you Batman.

Batman: Can you please stop killing people?

Joker: Sure.
