Did you guys know that NHL 12 is satin's favorite game. I am now 9-27-6 in the stupid game. All my losses in the past two weeks of my franchise have now been 1-0 or 2-1 losses. How frustrating. I seriously have absolutely no offense because of the CPU's superhuman goalie skills. That's all it is. The CPU's goalie literally seems to have a big boost over the human's even when sliders are in favor of the human. Either that, or getting shots off in the slot is not the way to score in hockey and the way to best score is from the perimeter like my goalie likes to give up.

Do you use auto shot aim? I actually prefer manual aim. I just took out the Blues 8-1 in a game that was 2-1 entering the third. That was an anomaly though, everything just happened to go my way late, it was crazy, I was laughing at all the goals.

I lost the previous game against Vancouver 4-3 (would've been 4-2 but I scored a cheapie with 1.6 seconds left lol), and currently lead the Wild 3-2 entering the 3rd.

23-8-3 on the season. I use easy sliders though (surprisingly default pro, but on NHL 11 it could be totally different than '12). I just like to use the Wings style of puck control. I want to dominate the possession, and set up good shots.

How often to you poke check? This is a major staple of my game. You can also adjust your defensive philosophy, I like the "collapsing" style personally.

Do you attempt one timers? Loose puck dekes?

A lot of times I find my self passing back in forth between defenders and then launching a deep slapshot from the point, hoping for a redirect/deflection or rebound.

I think it's safe to say at this point that OT 2012 is going to far surpass last year. Whether or not that's in terms of quality seems to be up for debate though.

I think it's safe to say at this point that OT 2012 is going to far surpass last year. Whether or not that's in terms of quality seems to be up for debate though.

Actually, the current pace is still just a bit behind OT 2011 though with ~450 posts in just over 48 hours this is looking to be the busiest week so far for 2012.
