Summer being dragged to Iowa for a couple days for some family reunion

My mom is from Des Moines. Had to go up there a few times when I was younger for reunions. It sucked.

I think they are from Cedar Rapids or somewhere close idk that state at all lol.

I went once when I was 5, I just remember snow and hating it. I'll probably hate it more this time, being older and going to a reunion where I'll know literally noone.

My mom told me that one time I just sat in my room and read the entire time. We didn't go to another one after that and I haven't been to see her family since.
