With a good team I get pissed off at every loss and even some wins if they play terribly. Then when you get in a playoff situation and lose you have to be reminded of it for the entire offseason.

I want the Redskins to win every game and I watch each game thinking they should. It doesn't help when a lot of the games they actually play like they're capable of winning, but they just end up disappointing me anyway.

I'm sorry to rain your guys' "the pains of success" pity party, but I would rather my team to actually be considered rather than being the whipping post.

Yeah, it really sucks when your team is relevant all season and makes the playoffs.

Sure it sucks more when they lose a big game, but watching your team in that big game is much more preferable than the regular season meaning absolutely nothing year after year. Also, only one (1) team wins a championship each year and you can't win it without being in the tournament for it.

The whole anticipation of a do or die situation and watching it unfold for one of your teams regardless of the outcome is the best part of watching sports. It's why we watch.

And this is the exact reason I said I still think being completely awful is worse. You don't even really get happy about games after awhile. I will say that becoming good after being terrible for so long is right up there with winning a championship if your team was consistently good. I know I was ecstatic when the Lions beat the Chargers this year.

I feel like they will celebrate like they won the World Series when the Pirates get to 82 wins one year (excluding the parade).

You people are seriously arguing that it's worse to have a team do really well and then let you down? Try starting every season with little to no hope, and still rooting for them as hard as you can. If you don't think that's true then you've either never experienced it, or are fairweather fans. The only team I really care about hasn't been to the playoffs in 27 years, and we made the second most money in the Major Leagues last year, but are still stuck. I would be beyond ecstatic with just a playoff birth. Championship or bust, my ***. Y'all are pissing me off.

This "Game of Thrones" thing is turning into a Tebowmania/Linsanity thing for me on OS. I don't even know what it is, but I've heard so much about it I'm already disliking it.

Except Game of Thrones is actually a well-written book, whereas the others (at least Tebow) have been overblown in terms of quality.

Game of Thrones is awesome, but it really takes the first book to get acquainted with the world and characters. The show is pretty good, too.
