These freaky looking bugs keep flying around my house, the inside of it. They also hangout at my aunt's house. We've never seen them before this year and they're weird as hell. They seriously look prehistoric. They're a white, sort of grayish color, and when on their back you can definitely tell they have an exoskeleton because they look like they have a shield for a stomach.
The thing almost reminds me of a stink bug in a way, but when the thing flies, it buzzes louder than a bee probably. Every time I see the thing I want to run away and never come back. I had one fall from the ceiling and miss me by a couple of inches the other night while I was playing the 360.
I didn't know what it was at first, but then it clicked that I should check out whatever fell. I leaned over, looked in the floor. When i saw it was the bug, I immediately jumped up and ran to the opposite side of the room with my back flat against the wall. I looked like a big baby probably. I would have loved to see myself through the Kinect's eyes.
I eventually put a container over it and left it there for around 10-15 minutes before I got the guts to lift the container up and kill it. I ended up taking a rubber mallet to it a few times, then sprayed it to hell with Oust. That did the trick as it was dead, but I'm scared because I'm sure there are more in the house probably.
Also, my ceiling is tiled and right now some tiles are missing, and two are conveniently right where my head is when I sleep. I also sleep with my mouth hanging wide open. I'm scared to death I wake up with a damned spider in my mouth one night that came out of the ceiling.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

I also head up the employee committee, so I get roped into doing some extra curricular stuff such as organizing parties.
I'm not exactly aggravated with my job, but I have been trying to branch out and find something different. I've interviewed with AT&T and Mercedes in the past month and had great interviews, I'm just on a wait and see with them both.
I'm going for an interview tomorrow for a company called Drive Time... should be fun.
The bonus we got was for our half year profit sharing check. We had a little over $38,000 + an extra 10k for being the top store in the district for sales vs plan..to divide amongst about 100 associates, depending on longevity, status, and hours worked each week... best one the store has ever had.Last edited by AUChase; 03-25-2012, 03:07 PM.Comment

Oh yeah I remember Walmart had those and MAGICALLY right when you were about to get the bonus, they dropped everybody hours to 10 to 16 hours a week for that entire month. So it was like you really didn't have a bonus at all.Comment
