Why don't they just crack down on the kids they catch instead of testing everyone, though? It's usually not too hard to tell who's sketchy...NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

So saw the commercial for beenverified.com and I thought it would be cool to do some background checks on people I know just for some kicks. But comes to find out it's under the whole "7 day free trial" where you have to enter your credit card information. It's similar to what sites like freescore.com do.
Why do all these sites claim free use of services in comercials but then ask for your credit/debit card info and have numerous accounts of people on internet complaining on how it's a scam?Comment

Must have been a charter or private school. That's pretty nuts though, drug testing for kids. Then again, shouldn't be doing drugs when you're so young. Save that for late teens/early 20s!

Idk, the people that "in charge" at the time (principal & his bitch of an assistant principal (who is now the principal)) were super strict. It's a public school, just kinda small and in the middle of a bunch of cotton fields about 7 or 8 miles outside Lubbock. The testing was actually for extra-curricular activities, but thanks to the size of the school, about 80% of the student body was in some type of EC program. I guess they figured that since so many were already required, that they might as well do every student.Boston Red Sox

So those people that are complaining that those are a scam are misplacing the anger they should have at themselves for not paying attention. When has anyone ever given their credit card number out and expected not to be charged for something?Last edited by ImTellinTim; 03-28-2012, 03:05 PM.Comment

My HS didn't have drug testing, we just had the drug sniffing dogs. My friend had his car all scratched up in the parking lot because he had some aspirin in the glove boxWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: Off Topic 2012
Because people don't read the fine print when giving out their credit card numbers. It's free money to them. When you check that box saying that you agree to the Terms and Conditions, READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS! You are SOL if they get money from you because somewhere in there it says that you're signing up for a monthly service, how much it costs, and gives you instructions on how to cancel.
