I smashed my middle finger bad on Saturday.


Had a ten pound weight held out, dropped it and followed it with my hand, landed on another ten pounder. Hurt like a bitch, most pain I've ever been in. Broke my wrist, and the finger hurt a ton more.

Every bump hurts so much. This is just so inconvenient. No way to heal other than wait. Can't even play The Show.

That sucks man but I gotta ask, why in the hell did you try and catch the weight? Why not just let it fall and pick it up?

Btw went to the grizzles yesterday. Great game 7-1 griz.

I think my second boy is going to be a huge baseball player/ fan. He's 5 playing tee ball and after 1 pro game he's already trying to pitch by mimicking the pros.

He's only 5!

Rookies next year I guess.

I was sitting on a bed, and didn't really drop it. Like I had it on my hand when I was holding it, then dropped it but held on to it if you get what Im saying.

Dumb decision, and I paid for it.

Oh I know but I had to respond, my chick liked the taco story idea so we'll see how it plays out. Cool stuff, get the kid pitching like Timmy or Cain and you and the wife can start living the good life in 15 years or so.

Dumb decision, and I paid for it.

I guess I understand, either way it sucks, rub some dirt on it or tape an aspirin to it and you'll be fine.

And speaking of injuries, I have a nagging injury (strain?) to my left deltoid. I think I actually hurt it back in February helping move stuff out of my grandmas apartment, but I keep reaggravating it. Actually had a similar injury to my right delt a couple years ago and that took a while to heal too.

Also on the injury update front, my knee sprain is doing much better. I picked up a compression sleeve @ Kroger and it seems to help. Been icing it too, shouldn't be long before I regain the rest of my mobility

I had a pretty solid day.

I started my new job and I like my boss and co workers. We worked decently hard, but we also took time out to get out in the parking lot and throw the football around. Where I work at, there's probably close to 50 airplanes that fly over, each day. We're right down the interstate from the Birmingham airport and that all come in at the same angle. It's actually pretty cool, because you get a fairly close look at them, but I would hate to live right there.

I left work, and went straight to the Hospital back in Jasper. My baby nephew was born today and he's as healthy as possible.

Here's the storm I drove through, on the way home.. I took this picture sometime around 6:30..

I left work, and went straight to the Hospital back in Jasper. My baby nephew was born today and he's as healthy as possible.

Yeah that storm looks straight out of the Twister movie. Looks like 2 tornadoes coming down......

I get to see the Drive By Truckers tonight. Pretty good way to end tax season. Maybe I can even get a little Witcher time in before the show.
