I called in sick to work today because I hurt my ankle when I landed on a shoe after I jumped up in celebration of George Kottaras's walk-off winner for the Brewers last night. Every time my ankle moves at all, it hurts like hell. And I can't walk without a huge limp.

Is it bad that if you removed the team name, player name, and just gave me this quote without telling me who said it, my first guess would be Wyatt? He's normally the one who hurts himself in odd situations.

So one of my references gave me a call that the company I interviewed with and gave a salary range called him, and they apparently sounded very interested. So there's that.

I sprained my ankle at the local Y, jumping across the halfcourt line to get the ball. All of them could have been prevented so easily it's stupid.

You and me both. I listen to CD's in my car, and only listen to the alt-rock station out of Philly (love hearing bands I actually care about on the radio, and introduction to new ones).

In other news, it's SO easy to write a paper about something that interests you then it is otherwise. Just banged out 3 pages on concussions in sport in like... 20 minutes. I couldn't stop writing. It was like typing a post on OS!

I wrote a 5 page paper once on Barry Sanders once. Took me an hour to complete.

The professor was disappointed at the end of the semester that everything I wrote after that never came close. It was the first report of the semester at the time.

I wrote one on the Saints after they won the Super Bowl, partially because of my interest in football, partially because I wanted to appease my professor who was a Saints fan. Didn't take much time at all. Though most papers don't take me long if I research some of it before.

I wrote a paper for Sports Management about if Major League Baseball instituted a salary cap. Even though I'm not all that high on baseball it was the easiest and best paper I've written in college.

Ahem.......Story time kids, gather around.

Junior year in high school for my English class. We suppose to have wrote 5 page report on a foreign book that we got from the library. How ever I didn't go to the library because hell in my neighborhood I grew up in that library location was the killing fields.

But anyway, for the older folk on here, you remember the fighting game Tekken ?

I wrote my whole paper on my favorite fighter on that game, Jin Kazama. I even made up the name of the book, I called the book Mishima. But basically yeah I just followed the story line for that guy in the game and just stretched it out to 5 pages.

Know what I got on that project paper ? An A. Know what my best friend who busted his butt going to the library multiple times got ? A "D". He looked at my paper title and instantly knew what I got it from because he was a huge Tekken player like me. He was like WTF ? Oh hell no. But he never told.

And there on out me and my friend kept writing English papers for that class off of video game characters. We both ended up with an A in that class. Back then video games weren't mainstream and nobody caught on to what we were doing.

Hell that trick even worked in college. I wrote a midterm paper off the story line of Wing Commander 4. That professor thought I was the next George Lucas.......

Moral of the story......teachers and college professors aren't very smart. Might be harder to pull of now because video games are more main stream. But back then.......only 1 out of every 15 kids played video games and damn near no adults played them.

But now it is more like 1 out 3 kids play them and 1/3 of adults play them.

Think about it.

The respective family always has one member that would scavenge through the deceased's phone.

"Hey grandma. Check this out! That idiot was going to try and do this with that!" as they crack open your photos.

I had that problem for the last 3 weeks. I could never fall asleep until 7 AM then wake up at about 2:30 rinse and repeat.....

It was hellish!
