I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

My music war adversary has figured out my gameplan. I let him play his crap for awhile and if he exceeds his noise allowance I blast mine back at him when he's done. So now what he does is play his for awhile, then immediately leave. Time for a new strategy

Since I left my last job, they've fired two employees and two more supervisors have left and one transferred to another store.
They have also had 5 associate leave, who have all been there 2+ years.. some even 5 or more. That store is going downhill quick and everyone, including myself, realized it. Their new manager is an ex-homicide detective from the Atlanta area and he's a complete narcissistic douche bag. We busted our *** to make bonus, last year and he comes in, in the final month, and pretends like it was his work that made the difference.Comment

Sounds a lot like one of the executives in my workplace. I’m not going to go into too much detail because you never know how things get out around the internet.
But basically he’s the most arrogant, full of himself, pompous, backstabbing Douche I’ve ever worked with. Ever since he got into a position of power he has gone out of his way to make the associates under him feel worthless. He nitpicks and blasts people over the smallest most irrelevant things, like he’s perfect. He makes assurances he never follows up on, and only cares about things that directly relate to his reputation basically he only cares about you doing things that directly cover his butt to his superiors.
His attitude basically brings down the mood of the entire workplace, he’s demeaning to women, and basically cowers up like a coward towards people that can stand up to him, or have power of him. No one in the entire workplace likes him with any shred of doubt. He once aggravated an associate so bad that she just quit right on the spot, and then the next day he had the nerve to laugh and joke about it in a public meeting. Those kind of things need to be kept behind closed doors. I know 5 co-workers that have quit because of him, and many more that are planning to if he does not get removed.
Just thinking about this makes me infuriated.
