A guy was carjacked and eventually shot about a mile from where I work over in Birmingham. It was in a sub division off the main highway.

I thought I would add, this is part of the reason I have a permit to carry and my Springfield XD40, .40 cal pistol goes everywhere with me...

Solid day for me.

I had a turkey wrap for breakfast, some chilli-mac for lunch, two cans of tuna this afternoon, and then a few grilled hot dogs.

I've just been thirsty all day. I've drank at least 5 bottles of water + a few glasses of tea..

I love the NBA and I think the conversation in the forums isn't... terrible... it's just difficult for me to keep up. I like to go to the User CP and follow my subscribed threads (any thread I've posted in), but when it comes to the NBA threads I might go to bed completely caught up, and wake up 35 pages behind. I've noticed I can skip up to the last page and not really miss a beat

I rarely ever participate in the NBA forum, outside of game threads.

It's hard for me to join in on a debate, if I don't catch the responses in real time. I'll spend several minutes catching up on a thread and then not even feel like commenting, because I feel like I've taken someone else's opinion.

Question for you computer geeks. Does anyone know if there is some sort of compatibility issue between Microsoft Office 2007 and Window 7? I keep having issues with the program and computer hanging, especially when I have both Word and Excel open simultaneously. The same thing happens on my laptop (though much worse than on the PC). I never had this sort of issue when using my old PC which ran on Windows XP.

? for you more knowledgable then me with cars, assuming the battery obviously isn't completely gone after I get my truck jumpstarted it should at least last a day or 2 right?

Turns out my seatbelt got caught slightly in the door and didn't notice so drained the battery.

Why did your seatbelt cause the battery to drain? Did it cause your door to stay ajar enough that the interior light stayed on? I'm not an expert either, but if you're not getting any reaction from your starter you might need the battery, or maybe a jump, who knows sometimes they can recharge through usage (or so I've been told)
