I may be forgetting something too..

I tried to get into Burn Notice and Mad Men, but they grew stale quick.

Best show on TV IMO is Sons of Anarchy.

Dramas cannot and should not be afforded such leeway. Especially with shows nowadays having 10-13 episode orders a season. Entire seasons shouldn't be wasted trying to hook viewers.

A drama has two episodes to be interesting. A comedy has three or four. If not, it should be tossed to the curb.

Sons of Anarchy and Homeland are the best dramas I've seen since 24, and its because things happen. You can develop character while things HAPPEN.

Can't wait to watch S4 of SOA and the last 4 episodes of Homeland's first season.

I've watched Mad Men from when it started airing and just missed the final three episodes this season, yet for some reason I don't find myself compelled to catch up.

Speaking on AMC its a ******* tragedy that there wasn't another season of Rubicon.

Pisses me off when the woman won't answer her phone. There's some birthday party for her friends daughter, which I thought we were going to together. I get off work and she's nowhere to be found and doesn't answer. But God forbid if I ever miss a call.

I'm not going if I can't get ahold of her. And I better not hear a damn word about it.

She pays like $100 a month for this damn thing (and she's getting ripped off already). At least make use of it. Damn...

I get in a game of PS3 every few days and feel accomplished. I guess I fill those free time slots with listening to music. But that's an hour or two every other day.

I'm not a night crawler like so many of you, too. I'm in bed by 10 most nights, sometimes earlier.
I'm 32 and have no kids. I work M-F and get home by 5:30 every day. I usually go to bed around 11:30. My fiancee cooks and has her own hobbies. The only thing I have to do on a daily basis is take care of and play with our three dogs and that's not that difficult. I usually have about five to six hours a day to pretty much do whatever I want - watch TV, play video games, etc.

I'm in the phase of my life where I'm catching up on a lot games/shows. Nothing to do for most of summer here in Tampa and even at FSU I don't do much of anything during the weekdays.

LOL @ GMSS. You're right... and I find myself watching some baseball and spinnin' on TurnTable. And about to go grab some BBQ ribs and wings.

I miss having that 8-5 Mon - Fri schedule I had, when I worked for Home Depot. I was lucky and the computer considered me an expeditor. Then I took the supervisor position and ****ed that up royally. I still work Saturday now, but I get one off a month and usually request another + I'm off every Sunday.

Lucky you I hate retail hours especially during football/basketball playoff season. I missed every single game of the finals. It is what it is though I have a steady job when a bunch of others I know don't.

Yeah I feel ya on that, my step dad has worked retail for as long as I know and he rarely ever gets to watch a game with us for more then an hour besides some primetime ones.

Welp i'm back home and discovered my GF HATES the heat, to the point that her being miserable made ME miserable. We're scheduled to have me go over again on the 14th but if this summer is going to be as hot as the weather people are projecting I might not go back til September

Oh well, least she sent me home happy

Do we have an olympics thread? Was watching the trials today and caught Ashton Eaton breaking the world record in decathlon. Pretty cool.

Some day he'll be a supporting elder on a pointless reality series.
