Everyone on my mom's side of the family has gone or goes to Bloomsburg High School and everyone on my dad's side of the family went to a high school 20 minutes away. Hopefully my kid(s) will be the first to break the chain.

That's how my family is, sort of.

My whole mother's side of the family, including my sister and I, went to the biggest school in the County.

My dad's side of the family, including all my cousins and such went to a school the equivalent in size, that's the only City school in the area. They are still in the same division in Football and Basketball, though... even if one is in the City and other County.

They are still bitter rivals and hate each other. It caused some small controversy when my parents decided where we were going, but it made sense because we lived much closer. They won't even let the fans of the teams cross sides at the games, anymore.. it's become that bad.

edit: I still hate that ****ing school and I'm going on 5 years removed from HS. A lot of the hate comes from cultural differences and events that took place years ago. I'm actually partly responsible for some vandalism that went on with their school. They had some custom paint and logos at two different intersections around their school and myself and a few people threw paint on them both. It was payback for some spray painting and **** they did to our school. Looking back, it was pretty stupid, but I have done worse.. lol.

Yeah my step-dad went to one school, but they changed zoning along the way so my 3 aunts/uncle went to the rival school(another family member teaches there as well). So it was awkward during football season considering I played.

My parents are high school sweethearts, from rival high schools.

My brother and I went to the same high school as my mom. My first girlfriend ever was from the rival high school my dad went to. I got so much marriage talk from the family while I was dating her.

That is pretty cool. My parents met at my uncle's birthday party. At the time my mom's cousin was dating my dad's brother. And also at the time my mom didn't know my dad was younger then her.

Drake just graduated from high school......FINALLY. And Eminem is 40 years old. That makes me feel old.

Drake's 25, but I guess with acting and all that hipping and hopping, he dropped outta school. Good on him for getting it done, though. Especially since he's probably set for life with his earnings.

I saw that Eminem was 40 and bugged out. But it makes sense, especially since his daughter is I guess close to 18 now. It's gonna be real funny seeing these rappers age, though. Isn't Snoop Lion (that feels wrong...) like 50 or 60?

Edit: nope he's 40 too. He seems older though.

I had to sit through a 20 minute presentation on the applications of The Big Bang Theory to class concepts today in Mass Comm.

Suicide was considered, but ultimately decided against.

you went to the same high school as your mom ? You need to move before you have kids and they end up going to the same high school as well.

Haha, yeah, and my dad and all my aunts and uncles went to the same high school. Even my paternal grandmother went to my high school though only for her senior year and maybe even just the last half of her senior year.

It would have been a noble choice, a charity organization to stop BBT would have been created, many lives would have been saved.
