The celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Of all the professions, after all, few people are less suited to be suddenly thrown into the public eye than chefs. We're used to doing what we do in private, behind closed doors.
guys........I just went to my high school website....I can't believe some of these teachers are STILL WORKING. They were already in their late 40s, early 50s when I was high school. Just wow.....
Pay more, shorter commute (therefore less $$$ on gas)... No brainer. You know the guy is solid too.

He called me back and told me he called his District Manager and they gave him the okay. I'm going tomorrow morning for a "formal" interview. Take into consideration that I've hung out with this guy plenty.. should be a solid interview.
He wants me to come in next Tuesday, also.. his DM wants to meet me.
He wasn't joking about needing someone, he's moving on this quickly.
