Well, we had an ambulance take my dad to the hospital today. He was stung by multiple yellow jackets. Thankfully, we were able to take him back home after 2 hours, but I feel bad for his legs the next few days.

Sorry to hear that hope he is ok.

Found out a co-worker of mine passed away on the job yesterday. Unbelievable. She left a husband and 3 kids behind. It's just hard to wrap your head around.

That's tough, sorry to hear about that. A little under a year ago, the lady who taught me the most about my previous position passed away in her sleep and didn't show up for work one morning. She was a little over a month from retiring with a pension in her mid 50's. SMH.

I really pity the children in Texas' public school systems. Some of these textbook amendments are down right scary.

She was choking on some food when no one was around. When they found her, a few people attempted CPR, but it was too late.

Well yeah. Still, we should at least attempt to improve them rather than drag them back into the middle ages. It wouldn't be a big deal other than the fact that Texas' school system is so large it influences publishers and other school systems in the country.

Even college is pretty much touch and go on things.

Work has been pretty enjoyable the past 2 days. Most people took yesterday and today off with the holiday falling on Wednesday. I planned on doing the same, but decided against it. Best decision I could have made. With almost all of upper management off, every seems much more at ease, and relaxed.

Still looking forward to getting out of there for the weekend. This week has dragged by for some reason.

If someone set one of my dogs on fire I'm not sure what I would. Sneaking into their house and setting them on fire while they were asleep seems fair.
