I guess the woman aisle would consist of the following:

    Tampons
    Maxi Pads
    Make Up
    Romance Novels
    Ice Cream
    Yogurt
    Bottles of Wine
    Cottage Cheese
    Chicken breasts
    Peanut Butter

That man isle covers just about every need the average male college student would possibly need.

You have your beer, condoms, toiletries, chips, cereals, and Ramen noodles.

Very good job on the generalization, but again it's a bad idea to put into play.

Many, many men buy chicken breasts to eat healthier and the same with cottage cheese. And hell, I know more men that eat ice cream than women.

The point I'm trying to make is don't start creating problems where there aren't any. Ice cream belongs in the dairy section. Salsa belongs with the condiments. Chicken belongs in the meat section, along with beef jerky.

With people getting this gender related shopping mentally forced into their heads it's going to be just as awkward to walk into a special section to buy chicken breasts or yogurt in the future as it is to buy tampons for your wife or girlfriend now.

Just look at how stupid people are these days. Some fat kid who has been picked on his whole life is one day going to want to work himself into shape, but since his self esteem is so low he will probably be afraid to leave the "Man Isle" that only carries beef jerky and Doritos because being found in the womanly part of the store buying chicken and cottage cheese will probably bring unwanted attention.

        /End rant.

Eh, it's all in fun. It's not like the different sections of the store are truly segregated lol.

No different than "guy" shows or "guy" commercials, etc.

Definitely. I don't mean to just come crashing down on your link or anything and just start whining about this, but it's probably because everywhere you look now this gender segregation is pushed so hard.

It's probably just a personal thing with me thinking that what you eat, where you shop, who cuts your hair and what energy drink you pick doesn't make you a "man." If you do these things based solely on the premise that they justify your self worth as a man, then you already have your answer.

True story.....about a month ago it was this old guy and his grand son in the grocery store. They were in the diary aisle/beer aisle. Grand dad was telling his grand son only fairies eat cottage cheese, yogurt and bagels. When you turn 10 I'm going to buy you a case of beer and a gun for you can grow up to be a man.

Man oh man, it was about 5 women in the aisle when he said that. Talk about a crap storm that kicked off. Grand dad kept on walking and said they are women, WTF do they know, nothing that is what.

Ha, I remember that place. When I was in NYC for a week with friends we stayed at a hostel on 107th between Broadway and Amsterdam.

The restaurant they used for the outside shots of Monk's on Seinfeld is also right near there.

I'm assuming they are try to sell guys on a diet type soda as that's seen as more of a women thing.
