I'm so almost over NCAA. I have some fun with it, but i get tired of the running game. Time and time again, my HB gets stuck on linemen and they jump right in my way, instead of throwing a block. I may be switching to Madden, soon. Outside of the stupid linemen, I enjoy the game a lot.

That(OL/DL Interaction) and the extreme lack of atmosphere is the reason I traded it in. I got very bored outside of recruiting, Dynasty gets very boring playing games. They really need to overhaul their commentary and in-game presentation.

Im hoping that Madden can hold me off til 2k13. Once Nba 2k13 comes out, Madden is getting the shelf

This ALWAYS happens to me a week or so after the weather changes dramatically and well, it's gotten quite a bit cooler in the last couple days.

Ugh, tell me about it. Sometimes it's like my own linemen are better at stopping my running game than the CPU defense. That really bugs me sometimes. Well, that and when my QB refuses to throw the ball until the 4th or 5th or even 6th time I hit the button by which time I'm either sacked or my WR is no longer open.

That's what you get for buying a EA football game. It's all good at first, but soon you're reminded why you told yourself not to buy it in the first place.

Well, it's not like we have a choice in the matter as far as buying a college football game is concerned. But yeah, NCAA 12 comes to mind. The 1st 3 games I played I was impressed with how well it played with really no AI cheese but then the 4th game I played . . . BOOM . . . CPU cheese fest :

I have to sit really close to the screen even with my reading glasses.

Heh, playing the games is the ONLY thing that really interests me in dynasty. Well, that and keeping track of year-to-year stats and standings. Recruiting bores the hell out of me. And I haven't even listened to the commentary in year. I use stereo headphones on my TV that I put over the speaker of my hearing aid, but when I'm playing NCAA I don't use them but don't unplug them either so the game is effectively muted.

I've had the realization today that I took a class purely to help me when playing College Hoops 2K8. Its a theory of basketball class and the fact of the matter is that the class is basically helping people learn how to develop a coaching philosophy and how to execute it through recruiting and on the floor strategy. Dollars well spent in my opinion.

I'm with both of you, I hate the tedious recruiting and let the cpu always handle it.

That said, I think I've only played NCAA once since Madden's been released. I love the Career Mode as a player, that's all I've been playing lately. I haven't controlled an offense since the first day I bought it. My player is a defensive guy so I've only been playing D lately.

I've posted here already about the fact that my girlfriend is studying abroad in Turkey for the next 4 months.

And I've kinda been struggling with it because we've all of a sudden gone from talking all day to only being able to talk like an hour a day (texting too, so it's like 10-15 messages each) and can't say good night to each other or anything like that because of the timezones.

Anywho, was just talking to her tonight and it suddenly hit me that I actually expect her to be in my future, even after I graduate from Syracuse. This is so weird.
