I remember being at elementary and seeing lots of classmates playing with those things during every break and made me want one of those a lot, after I got one on my birthday days after I let that skate somewhere in my house because I couldn't do anything.

I had a similar experience with yo-yos which I tried to do tricks but it was in vain, I'm just not good a those things.

Solid gaming night for me. Improved to 5-1 (3-1) in my Purdue dynasty after a close game against Wisconsin. I kicked a field goal to bring the game within a point, late in the fourth quarter. Wisconsin turns around and drives on me to take the lead by 8. I then catch the secondary napping and hot route my TE and catch a pass that goes for 45 yards and gets me in the end zone. While going for two, my TE gets wide open in the back of the end zone and drops a wide open pass and I'm trailing by 2, now. I was def. cursing my TV at this point. I couldn't believe that he would drop it after such a spectacular play before. Anyways... I was forced to kick an onside kick and by some form of a ****ing miracle, I got it back! Now, down by two I'm running some hurry up with no time outs, to get in FG range, with only 45 seconds on the clock. After two shotgun passes we line up and I call a HB draw, inside the 15 yard line.. I get a hell of a block, juke a safety and dance my way in to the end zone to seal the game up.. talk about an emotional game. I was so pissed one moment and excited the next... starting QB, HB, and #1 Receiver are all done for the season. Two with broken collarbones.. its been rough. I had to hold Nebraska off, in my last game. 4th and goal inside the 5 and I stop them from scoring and win that game.

Random fact of the day: I lived in the same housing complex as NE Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones last year in Syracuse.


He beat up this kid once for talking **** after an SU loss last year. Im friends with that kid too lmao I was dying when I heard the story. That dude is surprisingly slender in person.

In similar Jones news, Arthur Jones once bought my lunch on campus when I made a comment on how much superfood money the school athletes get when in line. I was cracking jokes in line with my roommate about us needing to get on a sports team so we can eat around here. He laughed and told the lady to charge his card for our food. I was like whaaat.

But seriously they get like 5 grand a semester in just campus food.

Arthur was a nice guy. I never actual spoke with Chandler though. Now I just need to run into Bones Jones to finish my collection lol.
