Re: Off Topic 2012
I was going to finally go to my Economics class for the first time in a couple weeks(The class is a joke and I have all the notes from my friend who already took the class) tomorrow, but the fact that all my classes are cancelled Friday really makes me just want to take this 4 day weekend.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: Off Topic 2012
Just a little info about FAFSA and how it works.
Financial aid consists of two parts, the Pell Grant and Federal Loans. The Pell Grant is need based and ranges from $555 to $5,550. I'm guessing you're a dependent, and if that's right, you will be eligible for another $5,500 in loans (Stafford Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans) for your first year, $6,500 your 2nd year and $7,500 your 3rd and 4th years (assuming you're going full-time and earn 24 semester credits per year).
Definitely look into state grants as well as some states offer extra grant/scholarship money for eligible people, and what scholarships and grants the schools that you are applying to offer.
The amount that your Financial Aid will cover for out-of-state simply depends on how much the school costs. Each school is unique and how much FA you get depends on your situation, so it's hard to give a definite answer.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2012
Yeah I rely on a large amount of Pell Grants and loans, which sucks as my dad is set to make a lot more $$ this year then he did the past which will probably effect my next FAFSA(they'll expect him to be able to contribute some which isn't really an option still).
Good to know that it goes up in the 3rd/4th years tho as i'll be taking an additional class then i'm used to and the 4000 level classes i'm about to take cost more I believe.
I'm going to probably end up with $25-30K in loans when it's all done blahSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: Off Topic 2012
Look at how classy that spider's mustache is.
I just picture him dressing like this when he goes for a jaunt around the town square with his butler Jeeves the Fire Ant.
