Re: Off Topic 2012
I had two other Big friends. One named Big Bud, he was 6ft and 300 pounds, and another named Big O, he was 6ft and 320. So our defensive front 4 was Big Rob DE, Big Bud and Big O the DTs and we had this guy named Frank, he was 6'2, 265 as the other DE. No school was able to run up the middle against us, our run defense was pretty tight. If you were going to beat us, it had to be by passing. So for the most in the city, we were straight, very few schools in the city were a passing threat. Came state playoffs and going up against those suburban schools who knew how to throw the ball and loved to throw because their QBs were 6'5 and 6'6, yeah they were a problem. They gave up the running game and just aired it out.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2012
Worst thing a friend ever did to me? Probably when my "best friend" started dating my ex-GF just a couple months after we broke up, after a relationship that lasted over a year. A couple weeks after we broke up, we went on a class trip to Armenia over summer and I was pissed one night. He sat me down and told me to get it together and kind of gave a pep-talk. I found out two years later that her and him had hooked up on that very trip.
A few months after that trip, he comes to me online and tells me the deal because he was too much of a coward to tell it to my face that they had feelings for each other and were about to make it official.
At one point he actually said, "she was my best friend before she even KNEW you!"
Yep. He actually said that.
That's a lonnnnnnng story, holy crap. But yeah, probably the worst thing someone I used to call a "friend" has done to me.Comment

Since the guy who regularly does the points standings for the Operation Sports Fantasy Cup has been busy this week and hadn't gotten them up yet, I decided to do it and in doing so discovered another thing that annoys me about Google Chrome. Apparently if you try to copy and paste an Excel spreadsheet into chrome it doesn't keep the table formatting whereas doing so in IE keeps the table formatting with the exception of text alignment in the cells.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII
Penguins : 1990/91, 1991/92, 2008/09, 20015/16, 2016/17
Pirates : 1909, 1925, 1960, 1971, 1979
Panthers (FB): 1915, 1916, 1918, 1929, 1931, 1934, 1936, 1937, 1976

Re: Off Topic 2012
I start a new job on Wednesday and asked if I could eat through lunch at my desk. I got denied and was told I can either work 7-4 or 7:30-4:30 with an hour lunch.
Does anyone else's work do this? I hate wasting time and honestly an hour for lunch is way too long since I just bring a lunch to save money. I think I am just going to take a half hour lunch so I can be there at 7:30 and avoid traffic by leaving at 4:00.
Random, I knowAny opinions though? I have never heard of a company making someone take an hour lunch. I am thinking it was because of how I phrased my question though, I just assume they want you to leave your desk and go take a break...but again, an hour? lol

My old job made us take an hour lunch and you had to get approval to take a 30 minute lunch, which they hardly ever approved because they didn't want people getting overtime.Comment
