MS points cards, not XBox Live cards. Finding real good deals on XBL cards is a tough bargain. Best I really ever could find is $10-15 off a 12 month card.

I came back from the store today and the maintenance guy was in the parking lot. He summoned me over and talked to me about the problem I'm having with Dish, said it would be easier to get my number and communicate by phone rather than my emails with the landlord.



I tried to tell him I prefer the emails and have a phone issue, but it's embarrassing to talk about. I don't want him to think I'm dodging him or something, but my phone disorder isn't believable to most people and they think I'm just BSing some story so I don't have to talk to them. I don't wanna tick the guy off and lose the maintenance help.

Story time..

I went out with a few friends and one of their cousins, which I have never met.

So, we're at Hooters watching UFC and a few ball games and my friend's cousin is about as backwoods as it comes. He keeps hitting on the waitress and acting like he's a ladies man and the rest of us just keep laughing at him.

So, he finally comes out and says, "You're pretty sweet, how's about you and me go on a date sometime?" She says, "I don't know, you're nice, but I just broke up with my boyfriend and it's too soon".

I could tell she was trying to be nice to him, but I continued on not saying much to defend him, outside of us cracking on how bad he was at asking her for the number. I did admire his courage, though.

She came around and brought another pitcher of beer and he asked her again. I look at her (she's standing on my side) and say, "You know when you move to another house or apartment and you can't bring your dog with you ? The dog that's lookin' at you with the "don't tell me no" eyes ?". She laughs and says "Yeah, here's my number". So, she passed him a number on a napkin.

Anyways, we continue on and he's talking about showing us how it's done.. yada yada yada. I thought I had inadvertently helped him get her number, but man was I wrong. My friend and his cousin went outside to smoke a cigarette, while myself and my other friend finish our beer. I pay for the food and drinks and leave a tip and she brings me a receipt with a phone number on it and a note that says "Here's my real number, call me".

I just sort of laughed and showed my friend and he started laughing too.

I've never had anything like that happen before and I really didn't even try getting her number. I'll probably wait 'til after the Holidays and then hit it up and see if there's anything there. I don't have the heart to tell the guy what she did and I don't even know him..

Sounds like that's his loss then.

You got the number and didn't even have to put in any work to get it. Automatic win right there.

This one time this girl took my phone and put her number in without me asking. I was pretty oblivious and was thinking...Cool story bro? And never followed up.

My mom had a 6 PM doctor appointment...she's still waiting and there's 4 people ahead of her in line. And she wonders why I switched my primary care to another doctor.

Yeah, that's pretty bad. Reminds me of one time when I had to go for a checkup after having surgery a few weeks earlier. Waited probably close to 3 hours then the Dr. examined me for all of 30 seconds to make sure everything was healed up and sent me on my way.

Being let down easy is overrated. Leads to more fakeness in society. Just say no. No BS fake numbers, no beating around the bush. So dumb. As a guy, I'd rather be told flat out than be given a fake number or be entertained. But I'm straightforward like that.
