    Re: Off Topic 2012

Welcome to the club, JJ. I'll put it down for a while and then pick it back up in my same Legacy and play a few seasons. I'm entering into season 5 at Samford and I'm finally seeing some rewards for my work. I'm looking to win the conference championship for the third straight year, but some other teams like Murry State are making a push.. I wanted to move on to another school, but some of my guys I've been with for three seasons are coming back for their senior year and I want to see it through..

It's amazing how attached I've become to a virtual team.

It's the best bang for your buck, of any sports game out there. Hell I'm sure you can find it for around $5.00.

I heard this story on the radio earlier.

The very sad part is, I'm not really shocked by the story and I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often.

Yes. My first reaction would be idk, pull the guy out.

That train isn't stopping in that short amount of time. I get what the guy was doing you really think a train conductor seeing camera flashes is going to take that as a cue to stop a train in New York?

I think the most shocking part is there is NO ONE around on the platform.

I've been in Midtown at 12:30pm and it doesn't look like that.

Apparently everyone just scattered when the guy pushed him in. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

I thought the NY Post cover was a little too much.

It's the New York Post, what do you expect?

Also, I'm not going to Monday Morning Quarterback what the people around there did. We weren't there, and we don't know how soon before that picture he was pushed in there or what the people did before it was taken. If you see a lunatic push a guy onto the tracks in front of the train, you're going to say that you aren't going to preserve yourself until you know this guy is done pushing people on the tracks? Doubt it.

I think he was pretty much ****ed regardless. Seeing where the guy was at and where the Train was at(in this photo)there was no way he would've survived that.

I just hope they caught the dude who pushed him.

Well apparently they did nothing, because there is no one within 500 feet from the looks of that picture other than one gentleman that is running flashing his camera, which is what is pathetic.

Like I said, Midtown at noon definitely is not a ghost town as that picture would allude.

I'm definitely not going to stand around and watch this guy play dominoes with people's lives and ask him if he's done so I can go help someone. From the looks of it, he scattered with the rest of them.

Whether he was ****ed regardless is a different story all together, and maybe he was, but the fact that there isn't a soul in sight is pretty telling of the character of the people that were there that witnessed it.

Look at the video, there are at least 15 people standing behind the two watching them argue.

I just hope they catch this scum bag. Unbelievable that someone could do this to another human being, but I guess at this point, nothing really surprises me.

I've been crunching numbers and researching games with a co worker all day, helping him pick some NBA games..

I helped him with the NFL season and the guy bought me a few steak dinners for the help.. so I'm getting paid for being at work and hopefully getting some free food out of it.. and I get to talk and look at sports.

                      Random question....
If you know that no matter what grade on the final exam you get, you will not pass that class,is there really a point in studying for it?(by not studying for that class,it'll allow me to study more for my other ones)

It'll show up on the transcript that the mark was terrible, and will lower your average, but over the course of over 30 classes being taken(for the entire time I'm at the school), I'd think that 1 class would account for like 3% of my overall GPA(assuming it's not weighted as heavily as I'm thinking it is), so it won't really hurt my GPA at all I think, maybe 1% lower at most but that's probably it.

                          Is this HS or college?

If it's college I wouldn't study at all. I had that situation once too. I knew no matter what I would not get a C. I didn't study, but I did go take the test just to see what it was like. I knew I'd have to retake the class...and that the new grade would overwrite by terrible one.

Yeah one reason I'm skeptical about online dating but really, how the hell DIDN'T you know!?

People that haven't met for 10 years, or refuses to send person pics after saying I love you. Like what!?

Question: Chick I've been talking to pulled out the "moral dilemma" BS card after leading this charge her own self. Not that I'm surprised. I just need to cool down. Now, we're supposed to go out to dinner with our friend and then watch a movie or something after dinner. The question is do I watch the movie after dinner?
