Have fun. Testing games is cool, and also hell at the same time.

Not playing for fun and playing to just break the game kinda sucks.

Not sure if this will open you up into a network of other game testers - I'm sure they probably have their own community - but if you could send the EA NCAA/Madden and NBA 2k testers to OS I'd appreciate it. I'd love to read the insight from an actual game tester though. Enjoy that opportunity.

By the way, now I really want to go home and watch Grandma's Boy.

got approved to be a game tester.

a 3 day job starting Tomorrow morning at Naughty Dog Studios.

i always wanted to try this out. im trying to fall asleep but im so excited lol.

Totally not doing Christmas shopping until Friday (maybe Thursday if they don't use my on-call at work). I was gonna today before work at 1230 but nah, don't feel like getting outta bed and ready and whatnot.

My girl already gave me a few presents. A Flyers knit hat thing (super warm and goofy looking), wireless headphones, and a 10 pack of socks (best present ever!). She also got me that SI subscription for our anniversary a week ago, and it ended up coming with FIFA 13, not Madden... Which is good. The downside is, it only allows friggin' wireless controllers so the 5-6 USB controllers I have are useless and my Dualshock 3 controller is on it's last legs.

Feel like complete crap, did yesterday as well. The first half of the day is the worst, then come evening time I feel pretty much fine except I have an occasional cough. Super congested until the evening. Not running a temp. but I feel like complete doodoo. I could so fall asleep at work right now.

Finally played Madden 13. I hate EA's player models so, so much.

I dug into it last night.

I played half of a play now game and two online games.

I actually enjoyed it and the game had a better flow to it than NCAA.

I was able to play a game online and establish my offense in the time allowed. Doug Martin had over 20 carries in both my games.

I won the first one 31-21 after my opponent quit after a late 4th quarter interception. He was playing a legit game, too.. just made a few careless passes.


Then went to OT with the second guy. He kept showing blitz and leaving his CB one on one with my receivers, so I just hot route Clark and burned him over and over and over and over. I don't even "cheese", but if he's gonig to show me the same look all game, I won't be changing much that I do.

Overall, I was impressed with the gameplay... rare for me with sports games.

Remember a while back when we were talking about doing nice things? And I said I told one of my servers they smelled nice? One of you guys said she's gonna want the .... Good god had I only known. This woman has become relentless. I've never been sexually harrased before, well I have but back then I enjoyed it. Now, it's just weird. I actually may have to go to my HR department for consult.
