Everytime I hear someone say "She/They want the D", I want to launch that person very, very deeply into the Sun.

I cannot STAND that phrase/saying.

So what happens if you are in line at a brownie store that is having a special on brownies shaped as letters and the person in from of you tells the cashier that she "wants the D" ?

One of my Christmas presents is on the bar, in the kitchen. I'm hoping my mom just lets me have it... it's a really god pair of Wolverine boots.

It's not as if I don't know what it is, I went with her to try them on.

I used to be anti-boots and anything that fits the "southern stereotype", but a good pair of slip on boots are more comfortable than any pair of Nike, Adidas, etc. that I've ever owned and I have owned a bunch of them.

+ I spend a reasonable amount of time outdoors.

I assume other people have done this before, but how difficult do you guys think it is to have a job while you're at college?

Basically, I'm taking 6 classes this semester, but the way my schedule is laid out, I have a break from 11 AM to 5 PM on Tuesdays, no class after 11 AM on Thursdays, and no classes Fridays. So I think I'm going to try to work at the bank out in Syracuse that I work for in Rochester already and just pick up hours on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and or possibly Tuesday.

I'm thinking this might be good for teaching myself how to manage my time better and get stuff done, while also giving me more money (probably could make around $100 a week if I work two of those days every week), which would be good for me because I'm pretty poor as is, and I'm trying to take my girlfriend to Broadway for her birthday/save up for a trip to Italy with her family.

Yeah, the one big bonus of working at the bank is that I'd still get out of work early enough to go to the Syracuse basketball games, intramural games, spend time with my girlfriend/do homework, and still go out when I want to. And I'd be an "on-call" bank teller, so they'd basically ask me if I can work certain hours and I'd tell them if I wanted to work that day or not. I'm not locked into the schedule the way regular employees are.

And I'm not a big partier anyway. Last year when my girlfriend was still on campus, we probably drank once a week and actually went out every 2 or 3 weeks, and I feel like I could probably still do that more times than not. I'll really have to learn to get my work done though. This past semester I basically didn't get anything accomplished until like 1 AM or later every night because I'd watch basketball or football every night.
