I'd LOVE a food processor. It's been so long since we've made hammos (or "hummus") from scratch.

Oh yeah, I'm definitely excited. It even came with a french fry blade. No more ****ing chopping **** and taking forever.

Well, I did end up...nevermind. TOS to worry about.

I felt weird/old being excited about opening up dinnerware and a food processor. But then Lego LOTR brought me back to normal lol.

Dude, we (fiancé & I) got so much dinnerware, pots & pans, silverware, a vacuum cleaner, etc. It was like we were on a home remodeling show.

I've got more gift card money to Bed, Bath, and Beyond then I have money in my bank account!

I don't know if I've ever been more nervous to play a video game as I am in my NBA 2K13 Association.

I have an 82 game franchise with the Celtics (actually played about 40 games during the regular season) and I just lost Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals to Miami. Now we're going back to Miami for Game 7. I have probably 60 hours worth of game time invested into this season and if I lose we go home empty handed. It probably wouldn't be as bad, but I'm feeling the pressure because two of my stars are older (Pierce and Garnett) and are likely on the verge of a steep decline and/or retirement. Wish me luck.

Ha! No. I just don't like waking up before 7. Especially when I have to be in a rush. Oh well, that part of my morning is over, and I'm in O'Hare for my coming flight to Portland.

Then a two hour drive, and I'll be home in our house, sitting with our cat (which will hate us and probably pee on something as a way to get back at us (dammit cat)), and just ****ing relaxing before the real world comes back tomorrow.

Although, I do work at home tomorrow, so the real world will be a bit more relaxed than usual.

That's awesome. I saw your post in MK's slider thread and it looks like you are having some great games. I don't know why 2K13 gets so much hate on the boards, I think it is fantastic.

Online players give it hate.........Those are the ones complaining the most. I play it strictly offline and having a blast. IMO 2K13 is the best 2K since 2K8.

I liked 2k13, lost interest but I'll probably pick it up again soon as draft classes come out.

Got Witcher 2 for 360 and the Mass Effect trilogy for PS3 so that'll limit my need to buy games this coming year, plus gonna look into gamefly instead of wasting $60 on unnecessary games

Well looks like i'm going to miss my GF's baptism

She's going to be re-baptized this coming week but we just had a major dumping of snow last night and i'm pretty much under the weather. I feel bad about it but what can you do?

I'll be there in spirit for her though and she has some family going so it's not like she'll be totally alone.

Couldn't fall asleep till 4 last night and had to be in around 7.

Almost didn't come in but had to as me and another guy are the only people in IT at work today. Going to the data center to take a nap has been very tempting.

I gotta admit the holiday season is starting burn me out. Looking forward to getting returning to some form of normalcy.

Almost seems pointless to be working this week. Four days off, two in the office and six more days off. I don't know why they wouldn't give me the whole stretch off. Guess that's one of the bummers of working salary. They find any excuse to keep you here.

Catching a flight tomorrow to spend New Years with the girlfriend's family. Should be a good time. She doesn't get to spend much time with them since they moved to Colorado. Her two brothers still live here and aunts and uncles, but I know she misses her parents, so this trip will be good for her.

Too much going on right now when all I wanna do is lounge around my own house in sweats for a change. lol

NBA 2k games is the only sports game I get nervous with. Others I just get excited about something, but usually if I have a huge game coming up I feel like I'm in control and will win. With 2k I get nervous and scared. lol

I'm guessing because basketball is a game you really have to be on top of at all times. It's not football where you have time to digest everything and take a deep breath before and after plays.

And the fact that I'm not very good at 2k to begin with anyway. lol
