Hm.

There are absolutely small field mice that could fit through that. I only remember so well from many years ago when I was younger I worked pest control for a couple of years.

When we would do exclusion work on a house we had to seal up holes the size of a nickel because mice could easily fit through them.

As far as the mountain dew and teeth thing goes, I remember watching an ABC 20/20 hidden America with Diane Sawyer on Appalachia. Mountain Dew alone just destroyed those people's teeth.

It was pretty crazy to watch.

I can attest to this. Up until last year I was a heavy Mountain Dew drinker, I drank all kinds of sodas but Mt. Dew was my favorite. I would always have a cup or two with dinner, maybe one with a snack, I got all the flavors the Livewire, Pitch Black, White Out the Special Game Fuel Editions... I loved the really sweet, carbonated taste.

A few months ago I started developing a really sharp tooth pain, sometimes it would subside, but then it started back up again. Suddenly I got really severe pain that would escalate into complete mouth pain... The whole right side of my mouth hurt so badly I couldn't focus, and it was hard to sleep.

I knew I had to see a dentist. Well to make things short I had a broken tooth that was 80% decayed, and they told me it wasn't even worth saving with a crown. I had to get it extracted. I'm still recovering and must eat soft foods for now, until the gum area heals where it was pulled.

Thankfully it was only that tooth that got damaged this badly, and my other teeth were mostly in tact. I've learned my lesson though I will never drink Soda, ever again... and I need to take better dental care, and brush more frequently. I never want to feel that kind of pain again.

I think it's really just telling on how fragile a mouse actually is.

Slightly off topic, but has anyone been to the grocery store and seen the many different variations of mountain dew?

Besides the original and code red....there's like 5 or 6 other flavors.

Yeah they came out with a few new flavors in 2009 or 2010. I stick with original or code red.
