New job and about to get engaged!
Hey all,
I've been MIA for a while I know but don't fret, I've not forgotten my virtual sports home. I have just taken a new job working for TDS telecom. I finished up my contract work for Frontier Communications in Fort Wayne, IN a few weeks ago. They didn't honor their promise to allow me to work from home so I said see ya and went to work for their competition. I'm up here in Madison, WI, home of the Wisconsin Badgers, who my Buckeyes defeated last fall if you may recall, for 4 weeks of training, then it's back to Columbus, OH for working from home.
On a somewhat related note, with my new job and extra $$$ I will be buying my 2 year girlfriend Stefanie a Tiffany diamond engagement ring here in the near future and moving out to rent a house. I said rent because we are not officially ready to buy yet, nor do we want to at this point since my job is still that of a contract nature and not yet perm (although I believe this job could be a fantastic perm. job).
I just thought I'd check in and say hi to all my OS buddies and let them know how things are going with me.
BTW - Cancer free for just over a year now!
