I know it's awesome. I worked in the food and beverage industry for 25 years until I was able to be a stay at home dad. After my daughter passed I tried to go back but I just wasn't mentally strong enough any more. My wonderful wife makes a great living and it allows me now to work for fun instead of a career.

That was actually a (not so subtle) hint to Bullit just in case my other contact falls through.

Oh, so now you're saying you have two hookups for early gaming.

Removing the plastic wrap on video game cases lol. Doesn't feel like you have the game until you do that.

And in the "old days"....opening up the video game case and actually reading through the entire manual(which was usually like 20 or so pages) just to see if there's any sort of controls or anything extra you might not have known about.

I purchased a game one time while out with my wife. When we got in the car she decided she would open it while I drove...without my approval. I was so bummed. She got all the plastic off and I made her stop so I could at least peel off the stickers that hold the case closed and be the dirt to see the disc inside.

How I miss physical game manuals. Remember as a kid reading them on the way home from the store after buying a brand new game. Anticipation at it's finest.

Now you have to waste the first hour of game being shown how to play it.

I remember always having that "anxious piss" right before playing a new game. I could never just come home from the store and fire it up - I always had to piss first lol.

Oh yeah, almost the same as the one you'd get when you were hiding playing hide and seek.
