Where do you think would be a good place for an 18 year old to shop? I want to start dressing a little more maturely (mature? I don't really know hah).

Re: Fashion / Style advice thread
http://www.thetiebar.com/ has a big selection. This company is featured in GQ almost every month.
I can't speak for the quality of their products though. I'm probably going to order some tie bars and skinny ties from their site in the next month or 2.Comment

Thanks. If you order before anybody else does let us know how they are. I hate having a loose tie. It just bugs me.http://www.thetiebar.com/ has a big selection. This company is featured in GQ almost every month.

As long as it's not something that has these places names all over them, I think it's still ok to shop at those stores. Or even if it's just a tiny emblem it can still work. I'm perfectly fine with wearing an AE polo that just has the tiny eagle emblem on it or buying plain t-shirts at those places. I'm 20 and still occasionally wear a Hollister hoody.NFL: Bills

Old Navy plain t-shirts are the most comfortable basic T's out there IMO, the ones that are $7-8 and usually on sale. I only buy the solid color ones but they have ones with stripes/designs, etc. They are so comfortable, I wear one almost every day in the summer.
Marshall's/TJ Maxx (about the 8th time I've mentioned it in this thread) is great for the poster looking for some more "mature" clothes. They have the really nice $75 Polo polos for $35. I bought a $125 linen shirt for $40 on Saturday. The deals there can't be beat."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

I'd also recommend Old Navy for some summer button-downs. Old Navy and H&M make some button-downs that are very light-weight so they're comfy when it starts getting hot out.Old Navy plain t-shirts are the most comfortable basic T's out there IMO, the ones that are $7-8 and usually on sale. Marshall's and TJ Maxx are great places to get some great prices on clothing. Ross is another store that is along the same lines. You can also get some great accessory items there like wallets, cologne, belts etc.Old Navy plain t-shirts are the most comfortable basic T's out there IMO, the ones that are $7-8 and usually on sale. Re: Fashion / Style advice thread
People are killing me for my graphic t-shirts that I'm bringing on vacation

I mean it's not like they are really that cheesy and lame.
It's vacation, I got dressier clothes for out at night, I"m not going dressed to the 9s when it's 95 degrees out.Last edited by Pmoney327; 05-30-2012, 06:34 PM.Comment

Re: Fashion / Style advice thread
90% of the time when I go to town I'm wearing a t-shirt. Granted its not some baggy, POS looking thing and I actually coordinate with my clothes, but I don't see what's wrong with t-shirts if you know how to dress them.
