Went to Kohls Saturday. Picked up a Chaps grey blazer that is badass. Regular $250, got it on sale for $70.

Also picked up couple dress shirts from the Marc Anthony line. I like stuff from his line since it is made for guys with slim frames. Picked up two skinny ties from his line also.

Well as I said with that hat, TJ Maxx/Marshalls is the way to go with RL. Their $150 quarter-zip sweaters can be had for $50. $90 shirts for $25.

To me it's worth it for their polos, sweaters and button-downs. When I was younger I'd buy cheap polos and sweaters and have to throw them out after 2-3 years. I spent a little extra on the RL stuff and I've had many articles of clothing for 5+ years that are still in great condition.

Everyone can afford something that is under the Ralph Lauren label. He has 20 billion different lines and 20 trillion different products for that sole purpose. Whether it's Purple Label, Black Label, Polo Ralph Lauren, Rugby, RLX, Double R L, Ralph Ralph Lauren, Lauren Ralph Lauren, Chaps, American Living, Ralph Lauren Home, and whatever else I've forgotten.

I don't think I've ever in my life met someone who didn't have atleast one thing from a Ralph Lauren line. My mother absolutely, completely hates Ralph Lauren's stuff but she has Ralph Lauren towels.

Only thing I have is a Chaps blazer that is now too big for me.

I own nothing by RL and have no intention either.

TBH, the only brand-name things I have are Levi jeans aside from my sneakers. All my work/dress clothes are from JC Penny's so not exactly top-of-the-line name brands. My t-shirts are mostly from threadless, moose t-shirts, or are band tees. I have a couple light sweaters that I wear over button ups, but even those are just Van Huesen specials.

LOL...what's up with the anti-RL stuff? What am I missing?

Simple, classic clothing. Expensive, sure, but I have never seen people so against RL.

I'm not against it. I just can't afford it now and don't really dig a lot of their stuff.

I own a couple of things from RL, but I'll only buy something if there is a sale like 50% off or at a TJ Maxx. RL is ridiculously over-priced.

No reason to be against it. I don't have anything against anyone who wears it.

Just not for me. I rarely wear polo shirts anyways, and I don't wear button downs with logos.

I guess I can finally get a jacket for the winter.

                            Edit: I cannot decide

Top two are Slim fit trucker and the bottom is the standard fit. I like all 3 for different reasons. If the slim fit was in the dark denim of the bottom I wouldn't be asking.

I will start by saying I'm not a denim jacket fan, but if I had to pick one of those three it would be the first one.

Same here. 100% not a denim jacket fan, but the first is the best of the 3 IMO.
