I just got back from the shops. It's starting to get cold here and I have hardly any colder weather stuff so I picked up:

Some 'Chocolate' Chinos - $60


A black V - neck vest - $40


A grey Lacoste long sleeve V neck sweater - $50 on sale


team those with a nice belt, shoes and watch and I'm good to go...

Oh c'mon dude...yes I'll agree with you 100% that at full retail BR is a money suck but at the end of season sales some excellent buys can be had. My only issue with BR is that their product can be wildly inconsistant, 3 of their slim fit dress shirts in the same size will all fit completely different in multiple areas.

Regarding the dressier shoes, I wear these sometimes:

Nothing special, just a decent pair of brown shoes that look pretty good with jeans, but also look pretty good with khakis.

Yeah I tend to prefer brown shoes with jeans these days. I tend to try to match the shoe colour to my belt colour as well where possible.

You guys weren't kidding about Express. There site looks awesome and I've heard good reports about the quality from a few different sources now. They have a promo on at the moment:

Your links aren't working YTG, OS filter is censoring them by the looks of it.

Lol I nearly pulled the trigger on $235 of clothes from Express. Decided probably not the best idea at the last minute ($30 for international shipping didn't help either).

That pic I posted is from http://www.hansaware.com/ It says "Fine German Metalware" but they are located in MN so shipping in the states is no problem.

Also do some digging in places like amazon for "cigarette case wallet"

In CA I find mine randomly in head shops or corner liquor stores that have cases of smoking accessories.

Edit: I doubt all states have headshops and liquor stores may not exist in some places either (that thread a while back on OS about people in TX freaking out about grocery stores starting to sell liquor blew my mind). In CA we have cigarette/cigar shops that specialize in just selling smoking stuff only. I'd imagine those would be a good place to get your hands on one physically so you can check it out. I'm always hesitant about buying something online that I don't have hands on knowledge with already.

I have a couple pairs of shoes similar to that. Square toe lace up.

Love the hat as well, though I think I would have bought the black plaid one. Gonna have to check out the quicksilver store at the mall soon. I need a new pair of sun glasses as well.

I almost bought the plaid AND the one that I actually bought lol. Would have basically been buy one get one free if I chose to ignore that it was 50% off . At the end of the day though, I think both of them go with the same kinda outfits anyway. I love Quiksilver. They're actually adding a Quiksilver store here in the Syracuse mall. I can't wait.
