Mostly I just want to vent and cross my fingers I'll have wifi. If not I will be back next year just in time to get caught up in the hype train that is Madden. OS withdrawals are a bitch.

First Deployment
Well OS, I leave tomorrow for my first deployment. Obviously can't give any details however, I leave behind my wife and my 2 boys Andy and Axel. I know there are several military members on this site. The worst part is def missing my kids and missing out on their milestones. Also I will miss out on the Madden patch. Its a small thing but its gonna make for a long CCM lol.

If anyone has any experience with this... My kids are 9 and 19 months. I keep hearing about how they will have to adjust once I get back. Do all kids go through this? Will they remember me? That's my biggest fear. Ill be gone at least 6 months.Because I live in van down by the river...Comment

Re: First Deployment
they will remember you. Sure it will be an adjustment for them and YOU but they will definitely remember you. The more times you get deployed the more use to it they will become.
Before you leave, just leave a long voice recording of you talking to them and just ask your wife to play it for them on a regular basis. That way they will always remember the sound of your voice. And if you have pictures too, that will help as well, but the sound of your voice is more important.Comment
