    Receiving Free Games????

In the last 3 weeks I have received 4 games from a Ebay seller that I repeatedly said that I did not want. What's even crazier is he keeps sending me games and tells me to keep them. WTF????

I received 2 copies of Boderlands 2, 1 copy of Nba 2K13 with another due I'm sure by the end of the week, and today just a few minutes ago sure enough there is a copy of XCOM. Let me say that there is another OS'er who this is happening to as well who I won't mention his name that way if he want's to reveal himself feel free to do so.

I talked to the other OS'er on here and he also was emailed today that he would be receiving another copy of XCOM later in the week as well after getting a copy today. This is the NUTTIEST SHIZZ that has ever happened to me in regards to video games other than walking into a Big Box Retailer and scoring a early copy of a new release.

Let me say that I have not been charged for not 1 cent for these games. I sent numerous emails stating that I don't understand why he keeps sending these games and he just tells me to keep them. I've made up my mind that if he keeps sending them that I am going to keep every single one. Lol!!!

And yes I have every email stating to him that I am not interested. Please feel free to chime in???

I've never heard of this before. When you receive the games do you have to sign for them at the post office? Maybe this is a way for the ebayer to scam you. They might try and contest that there is proof that you received them but you never paid for them.

That would be the dumbest scammer ever because Flight has proof he is telling the guy to STOP sending them and the moment he received a e-mail saying NO just keep them. Then the guy lost all weight for any kind of complaint. You can't send out free games then tell someone "No just keep them". That leaves every right for Flight to literally keep them. The seller told him to without payment.

Never sign for anything. It is always on my doorstep or in my mailbox.

It always comes from Amazon with a note in it saying its "A Gift". I covered up the guys name. This is why I kept my emails stating that I was not interested but he responds with almost always " You have this game coming your way on release day and then you will be receiving a 2nd copy a week later and I be damned if it doesn't happen as the emails says. I stopped emailing back after the 3rd game, His stupidity as far as I'm concerned at this point.

I received a $100 dollar bill in the mail once and it just said "Thank you for being you". Then the address it came from was somewhere I have never been or no one I have ever met cause I googled the owner.

                  It was strange

Yeah, that is really weird. Is it the same guy mailing games to both of you? Have either of you bought stuff from or otherwise had past dealings with the guy before he started sending you games?

Something definitely smells fishy about this though. I don't know if it's some sort of convoluted scam or if he's trying to dump stolen merchandise or what.

The same guy. I've stopped trying to figure it out. I've went as far in my emails to ask if he was making a mistake and he assured me he wasn't.

Maybe there's something else he wants from you and that's why he's giving you all these games.

In all seriousness though, there is something strange with this because random people that you don't have a business or personal relationship with don't just send you all the time just for the sake of doing so.

I agree a GIFT is a GIFT and no legal action can come from you keeping them after begging the guy to stop. That is like me sending out free games to you guys and you begging to stop then I don't. I then can't come back and say you "didn't pay". I sent them as GIFTS
