I like the irony of pointing out that kids today got to school then just "play video games" etc

The fact that you are piston this on a video game board is great. I have a feeling, when you where young, after school you probably hung out with your friends an played video games

This generation is no different than any other, high school kids were and always will be susceptible to peer pressure. It goes away with age.

Is it me or is this upcoming generation lacking on a sense of identity??
But this looks really bad man... like worst then any other generation...
I see what you are getting at...but...

Not sure how you are in position to compare any generations when you were born in what, 95? Oh well, that's beside the point.

Following trends and lacking identity has been going on for generations. High School in general is one BIG identity crisis.

There are a lot bigger issues with your generation than them excessively following trends.

Hate when people use age as a source of wisdom.. I've heard what the 90s and 80s were like... didn't have to live thru it....

Seems like EVERYONE follows a trend and no one is different at all

Everything is dumbed down, and everyone doesn't have a mind to think for their own.

Everything is just sad and so disgusting to look at... am I the only one that feels like this? Smh

                  Dare to be Different

                  End Rant .
I think you can say that about any generation since WW2. Every generation has a fad that people follow.

I think the dependence on tech is bad, but I don't think its made people more dumb (and actually I think there's a correlation between people that use and are familiar with technology and higher intelligence compared to those that don't use it) it has simply changed the way they think and what kinds of information to store in the brain.

And I've heard what World War I was like.

Doesn't mean I know enough to speak like I was a part of it, or compare it to anything going on today.

                        Typical childish reaction.

                        Get defensive and act sarcastic.

Bit of advice. Be yourself, don't worry about what other people are doing. If they want to follow let them follow.

But yeah I don't really care about the overall trends at all, I mean I guess I hopped on the long socks eventually but that was more of a sports thing.

Every generation has its own popular trends that the masses follow. This is how it has always been and will continue to be.

If anything I think this generation is more acceptant to others being different. Be it fashion, lifestyle or how they express themselves thru art and music.

You could also say the same thing about adults having an identity crisis. Some think just because you have a family that you need to dress or live a certain way. When in reality that isn't them and they are only doing so because mainstream society tells them that's what they should be.

An identity crisis prejudice against age or sex. Anyone can be infected.

I do agree with this, this country has probably come a long in regards to acceptance of basically anything.
