It's just all very, very weird
Maybe put a gate in front of your bedroom door when you sleep, but that might might not be a good idea for your knee.

Or put up a camera and record it one night if you do It again.

I would do weird stuff like take all the towels and started folding them putting them in the bathtub or get a pot and look like I was cooking.

You could do it chest high. Low enough so it doesn't hit your face, but high enough that it doesn't hit your knee.

          I've never sleepwalked AFAIK.

Something similar happened to me once, except it was at the dentist, and I woke up with my shirt untucked and my pants unbuttoned.

The weird thing is I was only there for my six month checkup.

Sounded like Jennifer Aniston was your dentist.

almost every night that i go to bed i wake up on the couch ... though it's because my wife snores so loud and i'm such a light sleeper that it's the only peace and quiet that i can get. plus, my 4 year old will crawl into bed and turn into bruce lee.

One night I fell asleep on a friends couch, and woke up on a different couch in the next room. I was pretty impaired that night though, so I'm not sure if I was sleep walking or if I just woke up and went to a different room and I just don't remember it.

I do talk and make a lot of moaning noises in my sleep though. My friends always make fun of me for it. And any time I fall asleep around them they say they always start talking to me and I talk back in my sleep and say just random stuff that makes no sense.

I used to sleep walk, when I was a kid.

At the end of our hallway, the bathroom was on the left and my sisters room was straight ahead. I missed the turn and did indeed pee on her.

I don't remember it, but my mom and sister both do.. lol.

Re: Went to sleep upstairs, woke up downstairs on my couch

I used to sleepwalk a few times when I was like in 4th grade. I didn't do too much... maybe just babbled or something. But I got out of my top bunk and could walk downstairs at times.

Apparently it was attributed to me not going to the bathroom before bedtime.

I don't sleep walk, but every time I have to go to the bath room when I am sleeping, in my dreams I will constantly dream about going to the bathroom. But then when I make it there, the bath room be nasty and I have a thing about nasty bath rooms, I refuse to use them. So I would go to the next one, that too would be filthy and every one I go to will be the same, filthy. Then I wake up and say hmmm I have to pee and go to the bath room.

I don't sleep walk either, but my dreams always seem to have 1 of 2 patterns. One is I'm in some kind of situation of impending doom, however I'm strangely calm and don't try to escape or fight it, I wake up right before the situation reaches it's climax.

The other is there's some really attractive female involved in the dream, however she's pretty much unattainable, I do whatever I can to try and catch her attention but she's not noticing me.

Mostly all of my dreams fall into one of those patterns, don't know if that's some kind of reflection of my real life or what...

ALL my dreams are this. I usually have some sort of superpower or super athletic ability that runs out near the end of the dream. I'm usually running for my life so...naw, I ain't calm during it

I've done it 2 times that I know of. First time was after a knee surgery, so I was on pain pills. I was sleeping on the couch because it was easier to get on and off. I somehow made it to my bed with only 1 crutch in the bed with me. I may have made a stop at the bathroom, but I don't remember any of it.

Second time I remember getting up during the night, but after that I was supposedly walking around the house saying stuff.

This reminds me, I remember laughing in my sleep last night. Just a small "huh, huh." I really wish I could remember what I was laughing at, all I remember was it was really funny. In fact, I believe this is the second time I've laughed in my sleep this week.

I know I have laughed in my sleep because I'll be laughing in my dream at something hilarious, then I'll feel a deep rumble from my chest and hear myself through my ears to some degree. I recognize that I'm laughing out loud in my sleep, then I laugh at the fact that I'm laughing in my sleep, but I never wake up from it.
