    Re: Direct Tv or Cable

The sleet with snow on top of the dish disrupted our service. I took p rushing's advice and aimed a bazooka up to the dish with hot water. That loosened it up, so, I grabbed our 16 ft ladder with a broom and swept the snow away.

    We now have TV service.

      yeah- its too high up.

im not worried about it sticking to the dish. This will be fluffy snow that wont stick to it. Im just worried that the snow is going to accumulate too high on the roof and block the path of the dish.

It would be a pain for me to get up there an shovel it away. It could be done, but then Id have to get the 30' ladder out, and all that crap.

        thumbs up to direct tv.
34 inches of snow, gust to 60mph and I didnt even lose my hd signal for a second.
im guessing because it was the lightest snow ever.
