I really liked the story to Assassins creed, and it had really awesome touches too it, I loved the naval battles and stuff. But overall that game just didn't feel real polished.

I remember that chase after the main villain in Boston was freaking infuriating, they designed that level for you to fail, I must have restarted that sequence 15 times, and I was so angry that it hurt my overall enjoyment of the game.

The chase after the Headless Horseman was by far one of the most bizarre and cool things I did. That was just crazy.

Dude, the consensus agrees that the first one was terrible! The second one was so so so so much better.

What drew me into the series was 2 things.

1. You are an assassin

2. The historical nature of it.

Before AC2, I never even heard of The Borgias. Years later, boom, there is a tv show about The Borgias. So every time I see that show and it's characters, I instantly think oh I know that person, they were in Assassin's Creed 2 and immediately knew their whole back story and everything.

I've only played AC3, and I had a blast with it. Not saying it was perfect by any means but it was a lot of fun to me.
