Man, what do y'all have against chalk? I much prefer it to teaching. Dry erase markers get wiped out in no time at all and a box of chalk lasts me quite awhile.

Yeah, unfortunately for me. She considers me as her closest friend after her best friend she has known forever. We had a good relationship until her feelings faded for whatever reason. Sounds pretty pathetic on my part how I'm still into her.

By unfortunately, I mean that it's tougher to get over someone if you're that close.

give a little less, let her come to you more than you go to her. Sometimes you get friend zoned because they know how you feel about them and they know you will be there should they ever decide to go further. Keep some mystery between you two physically and emotionally. Sounds bad but its all a game man. Not saying be a douche or don't be there for her, just don't be there 24/7, let her seek you out, ask you to hang out, etc.

Wait till you have another option, and you will see the jealousy come, don't acknowledge it.

If being her friend isn't what you want anymore then let her know. That is step 1. If that isn't then maybe you just need to spend some time to yourself and other friends for a bit.

That's the thing, though. I don't initiate any conversation - she's the one who starts the communication. She texts me, feels obligated to apologize for not texting earlier in the day, asked me to come over after I went on vacation (I actually did go, we just went to Dunkin, went back to her house to watch a movie, and talked about future plans with college application processes coming up). I realize I'm digging myself into a deeper hole, but it's not like this makes me unhappy - I think losing her would. I just want to get over her (since I think that'd be best for me).

Thanks for the advice, and sorry for the long response, haha.

Yup. UA used to be a mainstay in the top 5 but the president who took over in 2003 told Princeton Review to omit UA. Hurt the recruiting of out-of-state merit scholars having UA frequent the list.

Well i think in some cases people might just be better friends, when its boy-girl though you know it can get confusing. I think if you dated someone else, it would bring a lot into perspective, either get you to move on from her, or have her realize she can lose the possibility of being more than friends.
