The only drawback to iPhone/Apple is the Darth Vader chokehold on...everything and the front-facing camera.

Verizon has the S3 for the same as Best Buy.

My brother sells cell phones. Stay away from the S3 if at all possible. He said it has the most returns of any phones they sell due to hardware/technical problems.

I tried to switch to the s3 from my 4s and I couldn't take the input lag on the keyboard and the overall "cheap" feel of the device.

I have the S3 - first smartphone. For being my first smartphone, I love it.

I'd probably love it just as much if I got the S4 or an iPhone 4s or newer, though.

My dad really likes his S3, but he's only had it for a few months.

I absolutely love my Lumia 920 w/ Windows Mobile. I wish I had held out for the 1020, though. The only drawback with Windows is they are just now getting some of the more popular apps.


Unrelated: My boss laughs exactly like the seagull from the episode of Family Guy. I have even showed him the clip on my phone randomly and he didn't connect the dots at all.

I've had an S3 for about a year. Never had an issue with it. I love the thing and I love Android's OS. I probably wouldn't go back to iOS.

I can see why some people feel this way, but I absolutely love having a phone that can do pretty much anything I want.

It's easier to stay connected to friends, family, OS, etc.

It also makes work easier on me with mobile Office.

I don't even download games on my phone.. not my concern.

I decided to stay home and was the USMNT. Looking at the wedding pictures, I think I made a good decision.. not much there for me

You probably won't have a choice in a few years.

I recently got an S3 a few months ago. First smartphone for me also. No huge complaints, although they don't do well in a glass of tea. I put my tea in the cup holder in my wife's car, she puts the phone in the tea, and I get blamed for screwing up her phone.

But in shopping for a new phone, the choices for non-smartphones were few and far between. the ones they did have looked cheap.
