Funny you bring up knee issues.

I messed mine up Election Day 2008 playing football. It was fine for a while after, but backpedaling playing street hockey months later (probably about 4), my knee gives out. I've never broken a bone before, but I imagine this is a similar sensation. It kind of locks up, so I have to slowly bend it straight. It's agonizing. Eventually it feels like a bone or ligament rolls over and it pops back into place. It's sore for a bit after.

So this happened about 5 years ago. It'll pop out like that doing regular stuff like turning over in bed (happened twice in the year after original injury), once while twisting my body to grab something out of the back seat of my car. I'm always conscious of how my knee is bending, it just feels weak probably because I baby it.

So this happened yesterday as I was changing PS3 discs, hopping from ground to the couch. First time it's happened in probably 1.5, 2 years. This one was the worst, though. I was afraid it wasn't going to roll back into place.

My diagnosis is some tear in there. I went to the doctor's and was given a note to have an MRI done but never followed up on it. It's going to need surgery, and I can't afford that or time missed working. The struggle is real. I can manage it now, hoping it doesn't not go back into place. Plan is once I'm more financially secure and able to have it done, do so. Whenever that is.

Dang man definitely get that looked at, the one time hit for surgery might be necessary to avoid multiple years of knee issues.

The more I'm reading about these symptoms it's looking like Medial Meniscus Tear is exactly what I have, going to try and schedule a Doctor visit for Tuesday... if this is what I'm fearing I'll probably be out of work atleast 1-2 months.

Alright, conspiracy theory time.

And I preface this story by admitting I haven't seen this stuff with my own eyes but it was my friend who told me he saw this stuff and he really has no reason to lie to me about it since it doesn't affect him in any way.

I recently bought a townhouse so this is in a pretty populated area and it's right off the interstate so I'm not really talking about being in the back woods or anything but there is a huge field in the back that is heavily wooded and this goes back quite a ways.

There is a wetland pretty close to me and I've seen quite a few deer since moving in which I've enjoyed but my friend is an avid hunter and he wanted to scope it out so one day he brought his dog and decided to check for tracks and deer marks on trees. I was at work and had no idea he was doing this.

So I saw him on Friday night and he told me that after getting pretty deep into the woods he came accross some extremely disturbing things.

On two consecutive trees there were large white bed sheets tied into figure eights. On the third tree there was a hanging cookie monster doll (wtf?).

A short while later he said there was a ****ing chicken coup with roosters that were outside of the coup and they were angry roosters who started going after his dog.

Now this certainly sounds outlandish but I don't think you can even make up a story that involves the cookie monster and a chicken coup.


I put this here in OT because I have some theories none of which we should probably be getting into any sort of a discussion about here but if anyone has any idea about what could be going on here please let me know whether it be here or via PM if necessary.

Just to get it out of the way my theories involve either an illegal fighting scheme that we shouldn't be talking about or some sort of a "group" who might be worshiping a diety of evil nature which is also something we obviously don't want to be talking about.

Get some of those night vision deer cameras/camcorders and hide that **** all around it and find out wtf is going on.

I even want to know.

That's actually a fantastic idea.

Unfortunately, my buddy who went back there who has that equipment refuses to go back there again.

I just encountered the most annoying retail employee imaginable in Gamestop. I haven't been in there in months either.

I walked in and didn't make eye contact.

"Helllooooo {weird voice}"

Me: Hey

"How are you doing today ?"

me: I'm okay (typically say I'm good, how about you in this situation).

"Can I help you find anything:

me: nope, I've got it.. thanks.


Then she brings a laundry list of new games coming out to me. I had all ready picked up FIFA 13 at this point and I followed her to the counter.

She started talking about FIFA 14 on the xbox one and I said,

"I noticed you guys are pretty pro-xbox. I'll get it one day on the PS4."

Then she tried getting me to reserve it and I said no, I'll probably just go through Amazon when I do buy it in the future.

Then she mentioned Grand Theft Auto 5 and I said, "Yeah I cancelled my pre order a few months ago. I'm getting it at Best Buy".

I just wanted to say, "Lady.. this is exactly why I get my **** from Amazon. They don't ask me about my life story all the way down to the brand of tooth paste I used this *** **** morning".

I know GS employees always talk alot, but this girl was annoying.

I feel ya Chase. I even stopped going to my gs for several months because the manager at that time was just exhausting that way. Thankfully he is gone now and a previous manager I liked before is back in place..just in time for Madden launch too.

I did retail for years and I agree you gotta know how to read customers some. Even though gs employees have this bullet list of **** they have to ask/tell you about.

I just sigh really loudly and ask "What do you want?" in a really annoyed tone.

They leave me alone because they think I'm a jerk. Then when they check me out they have two options. Option 1 is try that salesman **** again and I sigh really loudly again and say "Leave me alone" again in a annoyed tone. Or option 2, they can just check me out and we pretend as if nothing ever happened.

Seriously though, you guys all have some real ****ed up Gamestop's near you. I've never had a problem with the one by my house and only had a problem with one guy at the second closest one. He was a dick to everyone. I've only encountered one girl who was obviously hired for her rack. The other ones have been pretty knowledgeable.
