Never knew Who Wants to Be a Millionaire has gotten a new host.

I barely watched since Regis was no longer the host of the show, but from what I read about the show, they really changed it up ALOT(and it seems less interesting now),gotten rid of the popular lifelines years ago(I never knew until today when looking on its wikipedia page) such as phone a friend,and 50/50.

Phone a friend was removed cause they finally realized people could cheat and just search up the question while being asked it. When that lifeline was originally created, people didn't have that fast access to information.

Cedric the Entertainer is the new host of it(I guess comedians are the new trend for hosts of gameshows as seen by other shows like Family Feud and Price is Right)

Cedric the Entertainer is the new host of it(I guess comedians are the new trend for hosts of gameshows as seen by other shows like Family Feud and Price is Right)

I've seen a few episodes with Meredith Viera as host. She was alright. How did Cedric do as the host or is this all from reading it up on Wiki?

Shows haven't aired yet. I just knew about it cause I saw a commercial for it on TV that he'd be the host, so I just checked wikipedia for what was happening with the show and saw abunch of changes were made to it over past few years.

I don't watch it much at all, but I did see a question from a few years ago where a $25,000 question was asking "Who was the NHL Hart Trophy winner(NHLs MVP award) this past season(it didn't say this past season,but it said the year of the season that just happened)"......lol $25,000 for knowing who was NHL MVP
