Re: Off Topic 2013
Since none of my Royals were selected for the 2013 HR Derby in my The Show 11 franchise (shocking), I set all the participants to CPU and have it going while I make dinner.

Uncharted series is probably some of my favorite video games I've ever played. I'd be willing to bet you'll want to pick up UC3. I still play UC3 online. So much fun.Ryan Spencer

Only sports game I have trouble with is NBA 2k, but with the new shot stick addition this year I'm doing pretty good. My issue in the past was always the controls and being able to do all the moves and stuff. I don't think I ever tried hard enough to learn them though. lolI used to hate 2K for their controls, but I sat down this year for about two weeks and forced myself to learn them. Now I can't imagine playing without them. The 'flick-flick' controls are too intuitive notI have troubles with 2k as well, not just NBA but also CHoops. I'm getting better though.
FIFA is also what got me into soccer, and I follow Man U (mostly due to Wayne Rooney, though I enjoy the team as a whole), Bayern Munich, Juventus (to a much lesser extent) and Colorado Rapids and the New England Revolution in the MLS. I actually like the fact that the MLS isn't great and that you mostly have to follow teams overseas because I have a tendency to choose teams based on my favorite players, and that's less frowned upon when there isn't a local team or one your family roots for.
My brother is a Chelsea fan, so when Man U (or Bayern, in the case of last years CL final) plays Chelsea, we literally have to sit on opposite sides of the room. It's really rather fun.
to be used, in my opinion.
All of this being said, come March 5th, it's all said and done with.

I already do a couple of those.
I just got beat by a buzzer beating 2 pointer by Ty Lawson in my Pacers Association. Then 3 days later Paul George breaks his finger during a practice and is out 4-6 weeks.

That happened to me on a Sunday morning a few weeks ago. It was hard to decide whether to watch that or football.

Re: Off Topic 2013
On my CM in 13 that I have going currently, I started at League 2 York City and built up my youth system into a juggernaut. My first season, I finished mid table, which was my goal, then finished third the next year, winning League 1 the year after that. In my first season in the nPower Championship, we struggled mightily. Players wouldn't stay in form, and we ended up 19th. The board wasn't happy and I was axed. I was absolutely furious, and then I landed a job at QPR in the EPL, and now we're in the middle of the table, but doing nicely for the talent level we have. Even brought in a couple of my old York City players, a CB who's 72 overall at 19 and a LW who's 70 at 17, with the potential to be 88-94. So, it's all turned out for the better.I'm still playing FIFA 10. Didn't like 11 or 12. I'm told 13 is extremely similar to 12. I almost gave up on it when I got fired by Celtic. I had 17 wins, 3 losses and 6 draws. I drew with Rangers, and dropped to 2nd place. I got this threatening message from the board. Won my next game and HOM drew, and went back in to 1st place, and they loved me again. Then I had another draw and fell back to 2nd. Boom, fired.
But now it's gotten so easy that the only thing I can do is take a League 2 team and bring them up into the EPL. Did it with Accrington. Think I played 8 seasons, and eventually won whatever they call the Champions League. Started another one with Burton Albion about a year ago. Got them in the EPL now, but I'm having a pretty bad first season there.MLB: Minnesota Twins

Just when you thought the NBA forum was bad, there is currently a thread in the NFL section asking who the best long-snapper of all time is... I don't want to live on this planet anymore.MLB: Minnesota Twins
