It is/was hard to be a fan of the Hawks and Thrashers in Atlanta, Philips is right smack downtown and its a nightmare just to get through traffic to get there on time for a game.

I went to one Hawks game last year and it was miserable. By the time that I made it downtown and into the parking garage, it was already halftime.

I followed it closely in HS, but now I just don't care for it. I'll watch it with interest if I'm out at a bar and it's on.. and it's usually in anticpation for someone to get knocked out.

I mean, I'm no "fan" of it. I'm really only an NFL and MLB fan. But I love watching it when it's on and I'll watch any big time fight on PPV or at a bar. I just don't know why people hate it so much

I've never had any interest for it, I prefer sports with some sort of strategy to beat your opponent, play running and offensive schemes etc. Its why I will never care for it or golf.

I think that is a big mis conception. There is strategy involved in MMA for certain fighters. I get why people like the sport and I never said I hate it, I just don't care to go out of my way to watch it.

I think a better way to put it would be not liking individual sports. (Tennis, Golf, MMA, etc.)

Most MMA matches are a huge chess game between opponents. Sounds like you just don't care to learn the sport

I dunno, maybe I just don't see it, I've watched some and to me it just comes off as fist-fighting with kicking involved and the occasional wrestling move.Not my kind of sport.
