So, Friday we went and looked at a 3BR, 1 ba house about 2 minutes from the local park. Its a cape cod built in 1950 with gas fireplace (gas heat), jacuzzi tub/shower (its pretty ballin'), walk-in closet the size of my old bathroom (legit - it reminded me of Bender's apartment when they finally open the "closet" door), a deck that is the about 5 times the size of my current patio, all new windows (double-paned), and a decent size yard for gardening/flowers and a pet (in the future perhaps).

The landlord was very, very cool. The house doesn't have a washer dryer. She offered to install a set free of charge. I asked if it would be possible to put in a ceiling fan in the master bedroom - she said she would for free. The house doesn't have AC so she is leaving her window-units for us to use. She would actually prefer moderate/bigger pets than the shin-biters. She said she would even leave her lawnmower for us to use if we needed it.

So, we met up on Saturday and signed the lease. Excited to not have to worry about looking anymore and can start transitioning services and packing. I packed up all my movies and games last night and realized exactly how much **** I have - which is way too much ****.

Damn that lady was pretty eager to get you to sign that lease. Never had somebody leave so much stuff behind and install so much for FREE.

The Gameday games were the ****.. definitely liked them more than Madden. Almost every hit in this video would be a personal foul today.

For me, that would have been a HUGE red flag. I would be asking ok, so what is wrong with this house ? Somebody die here ? Somebody murdered here ? Are we over an indian burial ground ? This house possessed or something. Are the neighbors crazy nut jobs ?

Because it was way too much FREE going on.
