Why? I kinda like Chrome better than Firefox, it's at least pretty even overall...

Both are infinitely better than IE.

I'm old and don't remember which thread held the conversation about "couple" vs "few", but what about "several"? I have these ear drops (again, I'm old), that say to leave them in for several minutes, but as they work their magic there's an incredible itch in my inner ear after a couple minutes. I have no idea if that's sufficient time or if I should wait longer and just tough it out.

"Several," "couple"... I'd say take them out if they're causing you discomfort. Not all instructions are ironclad. At best, they're just guidelines.

True, but the itch might just be a sign that they're working, like the sting from an astringent or mouthwash. I don't want to cut off the process early if it hasn't had a chance to complete itself lol
