I'd rather have a stuffy nose ANY day. Sore throats are the worst.

A lot of times for me, a stuffy nose comes along with more sinus troubles, so in that situation, I'll take the sore throat.

There is no medical ailment out there as annoying as the sore throat.

Sore throat falls #3 for me behind a persistent cough and a runny nose.

Runny nose is definitely the worst.

At least sore throat doesn't require using 10000000 tissues to try and control the geyser shooting out of my nostrils.

For me, it depends. I'd rather have sore throat if I have to leave my house(since who would want to walk around with a tissue in public for the day(s) you're sick) but if I'm at home, I'd rather have runny nose(cause sore throat while at home,means it'll be hard to eat/drink stuff)

I hate the run down, achy feeling you feel over your entire body when sick...That's what knocks me out from normal daily life.

Sore throats suck too, but all that stuff I can manage better. I can't easily manage having no energy whatsoever.

On the topic of sore throats... Getting my tonsils removed last year was one of my best decisions ever made... Was averaging 5-8 strep throats a year and I haven't had one since they were removed. I don't even get minor throat irritations...

Ever since I lost my ~40lbs I haven't gotten anything more than runny/stuffy nose the past couple of years.

And here I thought my 2 sinus infections a year was a pain in the ***.

It was horrible... Called in sick for a week at time because of the pain I was in. Felt like I swallowed razor blades... I had a really bad episode back in high school with my tonsils. Didn't have any issues as a kid but def. got worse year by year until I had them taken out.

Insurance wouldn't approve surgery either unless I had 5 documented strep throats over 12 months.... So I had to go see the doctor EVERYTIME so it was recorded... I rarely see the doctor anyway because I can usually rest and takes meds... It was so annoying...
